Anger Affects Judgement

Tanu's father (Tej) returns home to find his wife, Sharadha, lying on the floor unconscious with blood around her. He manages to revive her and she tells him of Bani and his brother's treachery.

He is shocked, hurt, cheated, depressed, and wounded - totally numb. Sharadha manages to shake him by saying that he needs to stop his brother and Bani for the sake of Tanu and Aahana.

Sharadha's statement aroused in Tej an intense feeling of righteous anger. He was filled with the desire to confront his brother and rectify the situation. His uppermost thought was not to hurt his brother because he hurt him and his family - rather it was to rectify the situation so that his daughters were not cheated of their inheritance.

Anger is a commonly experienced emotion. Once activated, anger can color people's perceptions, form their decisions, and guide their behavior while they remain angry. Anger affects judgement and depth of processing. It also triggers optimism about ones outcomes and prompts careless thought not careful thought.

Anger is a unique and complex emotion. With this state of mind Tej decided to ride on a tractor. I know several of the forum members have viewed the CVs in negative light for the choice of vehicle. However, in my opinion, the CVs portrayed the scene realistically. The tractor ride the loud remarks - are all behavior elicited by anger. The thoughtless and reckless bravado with which he entered the college to save his children is a typical response of an angry man. Studies have found that angry people often feel "more energized" to assault (example, road rage) even at a personal cost.

The CVs have very carefully and thoughtfully built up the scenario to dramatize the last few hours of Tej and Sharadha.

Am truly happy that I made a post on that scene because I got a wonderful outcome here in this post.

As a viewer, one always gets involved into any situation shown especially when you get connected to the show whether realistic or entertainment . My involvement into that scene was equally the way Tanu's parents were. The flow of my emotion got distracted with d dialogue and the action displayed. I truly found it filmy but yes I do agree..Anger blinds action, words and clouds his/her judgement too. You have beautifully explained the whole situation...and completely agree. I intend to write what I feel 'cause I am sure you will b there to give us your wonderful views. Thank U. Loved it.😃

Chitra - you are truly are good and kind person👍🏼

I am glad you wrote what you feel - and you explained your thought here. I too agree with you the scene could be depicted differently. 😆 But the CVs have to think of mass appeal nah?

Thank you Nirmala 😊 You are right - he was in denial. He could not believe his brother would cheat him in this manner.
