Ever since Anil Kapoor played Ranveer Singh's father in Dil Dhadakne Do the duo have struck a warm friendship. In the past Anil has also admitted that he wants Ranveer to play Lakhan in the Ram Lakhan remake. Now the proud papa feels that someone should cast his daughter Sonam with Ranveer. "I feel they can really do something special because they know each other since many years," Anil said at an awards event. Ranveer's mother is closely related to Anil Kapoor's wife Sunita, because of which the families know each other well. Also, recently, Ranveer was praising Sonam's performance in Neerja. Looks like Anil has given his stamp of approval on this budding friendship between the actor and his daughter.
