First and foremost, Thank you from the bottom of my heart! I am grateful to my dear readers, friends for standing right beside me during this crossroad.

Your comments on the previous thread, PMs, Scraps, Tweets along with comments on the other forum have been so supportive. I am overwhelmed and truly touched. And it's your encouragement and love that will help me get through this.

And now that the threads have been closed on the other forum, I have decided it's time for me to move forward. Time to wake-up from this nightmare that I have been stuck in for the past few days. After being emotionally drained, I am ready to channel my energy into what really matters in life.

I appreciate the Mod from the other forum for being responsive at looking into my issue, along with taking action immediately. They have taken down the related threads after the plagiarist pleaded guilty, and gave her poor excuse of an apology. Oh well, what can one expect from someone who has proven herself to be stupid and ignorant. The plagiarist has also now deleted the blog, which we know was technically mine ;)

This whole experience has definitely changed my perspective on posting my work on India Forums. Or shall I say leaving my work out in the open, exposed for anyone that I don't know or trust to have access. This has given me a lot to think through... and I need to work on figuring out what's best for me.

Unfortunately one thing is for sure... I will no longer be posting my work on IF, and that includes the conclusion of Revealed. Which I promise to complete as soon as I am in the mental frame of mind to pen it down. And as for keeping my blogs open to everyone, not sure I am ready for that.

With that, Revealed has been officially taken off of IF, along with the blog being locked. Stripped will also be taken down from IF once the Mods open up the threads. For now I have also locked the blog. Sorry, but they will remain closed until I make a decision.

When I first started reading fan fictions, I was a silent reader. It's one of the reasons why I didn't demand comments or restrict access to my blogs. Knowing that my work makes readers happy, and that the message I am trying to convey is delivered, touching many of you in a multitude of ways, gives me immense satisfaction. Especially with the emotional journey we have all gone through with Revealed this past year.

I understand commenting might not be for everyone. But that also means that the writer doesn't know who their readers are. The relationship, the trust is not there when issues like this arise. And that is my dilemma at the moment. Who can I trust? How can I now just give anyone access to my baby? A mother never puts her child in the hands of a stranger, am I right? For me this is no different.

It's a humble request to those who are silently reading Fan Fictions, whether it be on IF or a blog, make sure to let the writer know who you are. Especially if you love the story. It doesn't have to be long comments for every update. But comment on a chapter that touches you, send them a scrap or even a PM. I for one, love when I hear from my readers. This will give them visibility that you are reading. Will you do that for me, please?

As my Aneri would say... thank you so so so much and I love you all to Chand Mama and back!

I promise this isn't a goodbye, but see you around, ya? I will be back soon... till then keep this thread going Revealed and Stripped style!

This thread should have been a celebration for the culmination of the incredible journey that Revealed has been. We should have been partying with aloo parathas and arancinis, all washed down with some Petrus. The fire in their Chicago hearth blazing gloriously warm, with all of us in the living room with them ... tinkling the ice cubes in our glasses as we stared blushingly at the rug ... and not peering in through random periscopes eating cold samosas and drinking adrak chai from a flask!

We would be drooling over Arnav, we'd be squishing his bambina, we'd be eyeing his wife in sheer admiration (and envy!), we'd be casting a glance over their incredible friends with a tinge of wistfulness, we'd be looking at all their family members and reminiscing just how much has changed over the last year, we'd be looking at Aneri edging closer to her Mumma each time her Sidhu bhaiya calls out to his Zia, we'd be feeling the spirit of Sophia and Pari at peace as they looked down in contentment.

Instead we are left feeling outraged and furious at how easily people adopt words not borne of them as their own. That delicate sense of trust between a writer and a reader snapped by a person who has no concept of proprietary and boundaries. Stealing is stealing, bas.

Jigs, my love, you are one of the most amazing people I have met and known. I know you will not allow this to fester in you and will come out way stronger than before. You should do what you feel is right for you. I will always support you in your decision. Love you right to Chanda Mama and back as well <3

Hey Jigs,

This is just so awful. I am so sorry you went through this... And actually I am sorry for all of us as well. This was party time. We had made it through as much as Arnav, Khushi and Ari made it through this past year. These characters and this story had become really important... to all of us... as the response to this act has demonstrated. The time had come to celebrate, to bid them farewell with best wishes for their hard earned Happily Ever After... and this happens. And we are all left with a bitter taste in our mouths. Enough has been said about that idiotic act, but I do hope the admins take strict notice of this affair coz otherwise there wouldnt be many people left here. I mean in absence of good stories... why would I be here?

You are a stronger person than most Jigs... You took immediate action and got everything resolved in what might have seemed like eternity but was actually a remarkably short time. But this resolution I guess does not mean that things will ever be back to normal. I don't know what to say about your decision to remove your stories from IF. I can understand but it seems like a 'lose' situation for every one involved. Ignore me... I am just ranting. This is still surreal to me I guess. Was it only two days ago that we were laughing and discussing the Clues with such abandon? And now this.

But we support your decision. Till writers feel secure in sharing their work... especially exceptional stories like Revealed... it would be better to keep them behind sealed doors.

Thank you, Jigs, for this wonderful wonderful story that highlights all aspects of relationships and family. It is such a sad thing that this thread, that was supposed to see the celebration of a journey's culmination, has to witness this instead. But, as always, I support your decision, and understand your need for time and space to figure out what needs to be done next.

Wherever it might be, I look forward to reading about our favorite family again, soon.

Yep, Right behind you here Jigs.. always. :) As @Arshi67 put it, this should have been a time of celebration - a successful journey of writing arriving at its celebratory end. Instead here we are, battling betrayal and loss of faith.

But giving into this would mean the victory of all those that tried to quell your spirit ... so glad to see you here, with your mojo and your cocktail. :)

Words are the most inexhaustible source of magic you have ... we have..

You gave a heart beat to the words as a writer and as readers we devoured them, at times we held our breath and on occasion blushed.

Your stories lent inspiration for life to some of us .. and for others allowed healing... hope

We learnt in our suffering and our happiness we were not alone.

And then a very selfish, greedy and I'm sure jealous, inconsiderate person stole it away. We were all left deprived and hurt.. But you had to bear the brunt of this pain.

By posting this thread you showed, you are your own heroine, you will rise stronger, cautious, but definitely braver! Never let that sucker get you down my friend!!

Jigs, hello dear !!

We have never interacted before, I was away from IF for past few months, and when I was planning to come back to continue my stories, I get to see what happened to you. I feel so very sorry for that. Though, Mods got the content being removed, there should be a means to actually avoid this happening in the first place.

Kavi & Jay mentioned about this story to me many times, had a glimpse of it & bookmarked to read it later. My bad, I didn't get a chance to do it yet. Hope you re-post it soon.

No longer posting in IF? Yeah, I can understand that. But this is the medium which brought all of us together, an Arshi crazy gang, and made many friends. I wish IF does some modifications, so that writers will not avoid posting here.

About plagiarism, being a developer myself, I have a suggestion to IF Dev Team, which could handle multiple issues in one shot. Not sure how to approach them, so just posting it down here. Silent readers, who don't bother to press a Like button, will be unhappy with it.

Like we have tag, add a provision of something like [SHOW] or [THANKS] tag. Which need to have multiple features embedded into it like Members Only, LIKE, No Copy etc.

When we post our chapter, just add a preview of it first, if someone wants to continue reading it, press [THANKS] button? Which will in turn need to do all the below:

1. Non IF member, don't allow them to press that button. So authors need not add Members Only tag again.

2. Link it to LIKE button. Author will know every member who is reading it

3. Expand & Display the content

4. Default add No Copy or Read Only feature to it

This isn't so difficult to design. I saw it being developed. And, am more than happy to help Dev Team design it, if I get to make all the talented authors remain here, and get to read more of their stories.

Jigs, hope you post the story soon, dear.

There is absolutely nothing like seeing our positive Jigs jumping right back! I'm not sure if I'm happy or upset. I'm going to forever miss having easy access to Stripped and Revealed. But you should always know, that we're going to respect any and every decision you take! 🤗

Today, I'd just like you to know that whether I get access to your blog or not, you should know that in the time of crises, I'm going to have your back, Jigs!

If there's anything I love the most, then they are my friends. I'm going to stand up for them, and if need be, I am going to stand against them. Years down the line, if anything ever happens, you should know that we're all here to stand right beside you and fight anyone!

We're going to miss our little Aneri, but I think I'm going to miss my Stripped babies a tiny bit more. Maybe 0.01% more.

But please tell Aneri to never forget us, Jigs!

And give Mr. Raizada lots of hugs and kisses from my side! 😉😉 (a few extra kisses please)

like a mad girl... i had read all the parts to catch up and i loved it soo
much...
From there i got to know u through ua amazing writing...
and i have followed u like a real fan...!!
i was lucky to join Revealed from its very first prologue...!!
what an amazing ride it has been till now...!!
We all were so anxious and hapie and waiting to celebrate the
final good bye of Revealed...!!
BUT... (they say that acchi cheejo ko buri nazar lag jati h..)

M hapie that the copied threads and blog got deleted...!!
but the impact is huge to you di and for all of us too...
