Hello people!

EK has selected Shweta Basu to be in the lead role opposite Rajat in Chandra Gupta Maurya. See the article below :

It's time for an update on Ekta Kapoor's yet another ambitious project, 'Chandragupta Maurya'.

After roping in Rajat Tokas to play the title role, she has finalised her 'Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii' actress, Shweta Basu Prasad to play Chandragupta's wife, Nandini.

The actress made her comeback on television after 14 years with an episode of the horror series 'Darr Sabko Lagta Hai'.

This will be her full-fledged show since her return. Shweta didn't respond to our text message. Rajat, who is still popularly known as emperor Akbar in Jodha Akbar, was last seen in the top-rated show 'Naagin'.

I don't know what to say on this. 😳

Nothing has been finalized yet but dis actress is very much bulky n very poor in acting
As c was der in SME Telugu films n have to say c is wrst at her acting
I don't knw on which basis EK has selected her
C is nt even good looking
Just shit yar Maine bhi ye news dekha aur just mind is nt working frm den
I m quite disappointed wid dis
Bdw CGM has two wives clearly mentioned in d articles
One is durgsar n other is Helen
Wer did dis nandini CME frm ??
If swetha or any other actress is gng to be d lead den frm my side its a good bye to CGM
I ll watch only if pari playes lead opposite him
I m just hoping DAT at least ekta listen to our prayers n just cast dem together

hmmm actually she became famous as child artist from ekta's show kahani ghar ghar ki as om and parvati' s daughter at dat time wen I saw her she used to look cute...but now she looks ugly to me...and doesn't suit RT at all...I seriously wonder y kekta is hell bent on destroying her new project... 😕

Ya di very much c ll look ugly wid rajat
May be c was good as child artist but as a lead I think c ll never be OK
