Its a very simple and a very process. It doesnt take much time yet it gives a beautiful brokeh effect. And the best thing is you dont need any additional texture.

Step One : I have selected a merged pic [to know how to merge two pictures click here] and duplicated it.

Step Two : Select the duplicate layer, go to filter, choose gaussian blur from the blur panel. Select the parameters as shown in the pic.

Step Three : Click control T and rotate the blur layer upside down.

Step Four : Merge all the layers by clicking Control/Command+E. Then go to Layer > New Fill Layer > Gradient.

Step Five : Select the parameters as per the picture below.

Step Six : Change the layer mode to overlay

Step Seven : Lets add some text. Change the layer mode to colour burn

All the tuts were useful Appz!! Good work! Remember you made a Deepika edit with the Lagh Muh Lag Gaya pics quite earlier and shared it in FB. With some awesome effect [Which looks like muddy, earthy, dirty - I dunno what to call that. Even better a tan effect] Can you post the tut for that edit.

And here's what I have experimented. TBH it have been months I touched PS and finally decided to put in some effort to try one of your tut bokeh effect with DP's pic. I swear I started with the instructions but ended up in having a tanned/black patch over the image. I dunno where I went wrong but somewhere around <Gradient+Blending change> Anyhow how can I miss a chance to flaunt what I've made...So here it is. Which has the Gaussi thing and other than that nothing.

Rotten tommy's are welcomed. (Applicable only for Appy🤓)

As promised it's pic-spam time 😳

HOW TO MAKE A SIMPLE PIC SPAM

Step One : Open a new file in ps. The size can be 250(W) X 145 (H) pixels
*note that the height can vary as per your requirement. But keep the width 250 pixels.

Step Two : Copy paste any picture you want to and adjust the size as per your requirement. The shortcut key is Control/Command + T

Step Three : Copy the background layer and add gaussian blur. Make sure that the top image is totally blurred. I have used 6.8 for this pic. One you do that select a soft brush and erase the human parts so that it is clearly visible and the rest of the area remains blurred.

Step Four : Select the original picture and then select curve to brighten the pic. Or use can use level to make it contrast. Curve gives better effect than level. And since the picture was darker i wanted to highlight it. You can do as per your choice and also according to the pic you select. This step can totally be avoided as well.

Step Five : Keep the base picture select and then go to filter and chose sharpen then select smart sharpen. Apply the parameters as per shown in the below picture.
