Easy Blending Technique with Eraser Tool



I am going to show you how to blend images with eraser tool. It's the easiest method and doesnt take much time. In this tutorial i am blending two pictures. This process will be same for multiple picture blending.


Step One: Copy Paste two different files in two different layers. Make sure both the layers are on and visible.




Step Two : Select the top layer, In my case it is pic 2 then select the eraser tool
Make sure to click on soft round brush (faded one on the edges).
Since my image size of the document is 500X400 I have select a brush size of 188px, hardness 0% (size will vary depending on the document size).
Start erasing the parts which you dont want in the document.






Step Three : Near the edges where the blending needs to be finer reduce the brush size. I have selected 21px and hardness 0%. (size will vary depending on the document size). Start erasing the parts which you dont want in the document.






Tada. You are done.





Note : Always use bigger size for blending at first. It gives a blurry effect in the background. Then use smaller size when you are blending human figures.
