He walked toward her like a predator walk toward his prey. He smirked as she back away.
"Reyaansh, I never expected you to be like this. I thought you are a decent man, but you proved me wrong. What the hell do you rich men think of yourself? How dare you bought me like an object?" She shouted at him while her eyes filled with tears of frustration and pain.
"If i hadn't agreed to your brother, then your brother would have sold you to someone else. You were not safe in that house." Rey told her as calmly as he could. Shouting at her, was the last thing he wanted to do, she already looked so frightened and he didn't wanted to scare her more.
"And you think I'm safe here? With the man who bought me for god knows what? OH! Let me guess- To warm your bed-" She screamed at him, his brown orbs darkened in anger. He grabbed her shoulder and pulled her toward him with a jerk. Her eyes widen while her form was shivering in fear. She felt helpless infront of the powerful man before her.
"I didn't bought you to satisfy my lust. I'm not that type of person who will ruin an innocent life just to satisfy my lust. If i hadn't made that deal with your brother, then he would have sold you to someone else to pay back the loan. I don't want anything from you in return, not your body atleast. I'm not that cheap" He roared in anger, angry by her accusations. Taani look into her eyes, suddenly feeling guilty for judging him so quickly, but can she really trust him? After all, its been not even a day she know him.
He could see thousands of emotions in those beautiful pair of hazel.
"When i see you, I was attracted to you, I won't deny that. You are an innocent, sweet girl and i won't ruin your innocence like this. I know your brother betrayed you, its hard for you to trust anyone. He was selfish, used you for his own benefits but i won't do that, you can trust me on that. You can live here as you want as i know there is no other place for you to go and even i won't allow you to leave knowing you are not safe outside." Rey said to her, looking straight into her eyes. Taani felt herself respecting him more.
"I'm sorry for lashing out at you." She apologized, giving him a small smile. He returned the smile and pulled her in his embrace, when he couldn't bear the distance between them.
There was something in her that pull him toward her, he was growing himself to like her, like that cute smile of hers. He was attracted to her physically as well, ever since he had laid his eyes on her, his eyes clouded with desires. Her innocent beauty had spell a cast over him.
"Reyaansh, won't your family mind if i stay here?" Taani asked him, breaking the hug. Butterflies fluttered inside her belly at his close proximity, making her feel weird. She was feeling something like this for the first time.
"My family lives in our mansion, no one from my family is aware about this penthouse, so you can live here." Rey told her, smiling down at her sweetly.
"Thank you for helping me. If there was someone else in your place, then don't know what would have happen to me. Not all are kind like you-" Taani whispered softly, her eyes shining bright with happiness and respect for him.
"You are very innocent, and taking advantage of your innocence would be the last thing i will ever do. You deserve better life and happiness. From now on, you will live your life as you want. You are a free bird, not bound to any one." Rey replied, feeling protective over her. Taani was looking at him in awe, he was the definition of perfection, a perfect gentleman. And in that moment itself, unknowingly, she gave her heart to the man who was her savior.

After A Month.
Everything was going smoothly, she was living in his penthouse while he come to visit her thrice in a week. There relationship was growing, they are coming close to each other. She share her everything with him, they both were getting to know each other.
"Hey, Taani." He greeted her as he entered her bedroom. Taani got up from the bed and ran to him. She hugged her, throwing her arms around him. Rey laughed and hugged her tightly.
"Taani, i have a good news for you."
"What it is?" Taani asked him excitedly. Instead of answering her, Rey handed her a file. She gave a confused look to him, but he shrugged and told her to read the papers.
"These are the property papers, all your father's property is in your name now. And that was the main reason your brother hated you, your father didn't gave him a penny-" Rey told her, Taani look at him with small smile. All these property & money doesn't matter to her, she just want love & care in life.
"Thanks, Reyaansh. Now i can buy a house and shift there. I mean till when i'll stay here and burden you-"
"WHAT? You are not a burden on me, and you are not going anywhere. You will live here only, infront of my eyes." He growled possessively. Wrapping his arm around her waist, he pulled her in his arms. Taani look at him, surprised seeing his possessiveness.
"Reyaansh, but till when i'll be depended on you. I need to become independent."
"But you don't have to leave me for becoming independent. I'm not stopping you from doing anything, but don't leave me. I don't want you to leave." Rey said to her, looking straight into her eyes with such intensity, that shook her soul. Under his penetrating gaze, she felt shy, she felt wanted.
"Promise me that you won't leave me."
Taani nodded, it was first time he had asked for something, and she didn't had heart to deny.
"I promise." Taani promised him with a smiling dazzling her smile. His heart skipped a beat, she giggled softly as he lifted her and twirled her around.
It was the new beginning of her life, with him.
