how many of u are superstititious or knw of some1 who is

I was wondering how many of the forum members are a little superstitious or know of some1 who is. I think that obviously most of us would not be as crazy as the characters in this show are. I myself have silly superstitions like I would touch wood and would literally and instinctively look for wood when I say that I hope a good situation continues. Or me thinking that bad luck comes in 3's. So I would wait for the 3rd bad luck to occur so that I can breath easy otherwise it would always be at the back of mind that something bad was going to happen. Or the twitching of left eye which means something bad would happen. Or each year my family has gotten into the habit of going to a priest to check our horoscope so that we would fast on the days that are supposedly our bad luck days. There is such a fine line between proper belief and following what our religion/culture really is and religious righteousness or rigidness. No religion or scriptures ever teachers us to be mean or do mean things to other people. Our inherent badness is just part of who we are and most times we use religion as our weapon to be who we really are in a negative way. This serial shows the rigidness of how religion can limit a person in the way they think and view the world and people. But I always believe that religious flexibility and even superstitions should be allowed coz if we respect our own religion then we should also respect other religions. if we dnt understand something u cnt judge it properly and fix it. I am from south africa and so some hindi ppl here would do a goat sacrifice, some african ppl do that as well and both would do it for their ancestors. or some of the tamil people do Porridge prayers(dnt knw what it is called in tamil) and they would slaughter chickens and a person whose trance was about to be opened at this prayer would have to drink the blood of the chicken. I think that prayer is like for good luck prayer and giving back to god or something like that. Bt there are also ppl who do the prayer bt do so in a clean way aka veg way. So are any of u superstitious or now of weird superstitious practices. Or even variations of the same prayer for a superstitious event that u know of. Coz let's admit it all the prayers that we is to keep the good in and keep the bad out. And this is superstitious coz let's admit it where there is good there is always bad its human nature. These tv serial with their mahaan leads go against human nature coz no1 is that good. NB I do not at all support the sort of things that guari's dad does to kaali. He is just a mean, egotistically man and if anything he doesn't truly believe in god.

In reality these days also ppl do follow superstitions in varying degrees.But Gauri's dad seem to be having double standards. If he is true believer why can't he accept Gauri with her shortcomings or whatever fate has for her. why is he forcing her to be better than the rest because she is his daughter? Then He is trying to change her fate using kaali. That means he truly doesn't believe fate and superstitions. He does what is convenient for him.


I thought the vamp lady (forget her name😆) will expose vishveer's superstition and double standards but Cvs made her evil! She is actually a victim of his superstition possibly (though i don't know her story fully).
