I like her acting

but she is going through a parineeti syndrome

good act but repetitive

she is just the same in almost all her movies

baring highway or SOTY to an extent

she is the same in all her movies

it is like i am watching aalia on screen than a character coz she appears to be playing herself with the same body language..smile..laugh..

your thoughts?

i feel alia needs to do some different role now

I thinks sooo as well. she is basically her character. the worst part is that she acts with really good actors that so I kind of have to watch with her. I really hope Pari and Shraddha get to do some of the characters she has played coz they would just add something especially Pari.

Shraddha is a terrible actor, I dunno why people think she will do anything remotely good in place of Alia.
OT: yes she has been the same in every movie. Arshad Warsi effect.

She needs a character which would require her to change her looks to style of acting for not getting stereotyped.

just think it would be interesting to see if she could do it and if she cnt then atleast alia can be known as the best. these actresses and actors just get so type casted after 1 movie let them experiment.

i liked alia only in highway...i dont enjoy her perfomances for me she is like jst a wild child who is desperate for attention

Pretty much. Ironic that KJo gives her all these films but doesnt let her show off her range. She showed more versatility at her Filmfare awards performance than she does in KJo movies

Yes and no. If she's playing a young modern urban girl then yes. All of them have been feisty, care free, fun loving, I'll live life according to my own wants kind of gal. Even in HSKD though she wasn't necessarily an urbanite.

But she has Higway. She has UP that will be very different. And I think Gauri's next might be different as well. So yes she falls into a rut, or maybe she purposely does those because barring Shaandar they've all worked for her. But she's smart enough to balance it out with a Highway and a UP.
