Scene 1
The episode begins at a view of the ancient Ratan Bhavan in 1930. We see the crazed king of the Bhavan running around with a bloody sword intending to kill all the females in the place so that nobody is able to err like his queen did. The servants there try futilely to stop him. He spots two ladies there and despite the servants' efforts, chases after them and brutally murders them with his sword.
Scene 2
Back in present times, we see a portrait of this demented king Danutola (?) in the Bhavan and a man explains to a girl Ashima standing there that this king was her ancestor and he later killed himself with that same sword. The man Duhikanda (?) warns her that even now, no female can stay alive in the Bhavan and warns her to leave. Ashima says that she knows this guy and his ancestry had been in charge of taking care of the Bhavan from long and they don't want her there, and thus are trying to scare her away with this story. She reveals that she's the heir to this Bhavan worth crores and now intends to turn it into a hotel, and some investors are here as guests. She warns him not to repeat this story again lest they be scared off, and orders him to prepare dinner for all of them.
Downstairs, a servant tells Ashima that her female friends from Mumbai and London, Riya and Maya are missing. Duhikanda says that it's the curse at work and no female can survive in the Bhavan. She gets angry and tells them to look around for the girls, but they're nowhere to be found. The other guests say that there's no need to worry. Our CID team comprising of Abhijeet sir, Sachin sir, Pankaj, Jayawanti and Ishita arrives saying that they've gotten information about two murders having taken place there. A servant Kittu there says he called them, and says two girls have been murdered there. He takes them to a store room to show the bodies, but they're gone. Abhijeet sir says they'll find out if this story is true, and asks the team to search the place.
Sachin sir finds blood under one of the sacks and says that somebody clearly attempted to dispose of the bodies and evidence. Jayawanti finds two headless female corpses in the cupboard. The guests are shocked but not able to ascertain if its Diya and Maya, and say that these aren't the clothes they were wearing before going missing. Duhikanda says it's the king's curse at work and Ashima blames him for the murders, saying he wants to usurp her Bhavan. Abhijeet sir receives a call.
Scene 3 (21:57)
The duo are taken by an escort to Katori Damka's lockup, who's apparently claimed after 48 hours of silence that he wishes to divulge something important about Herpes Dongara to them. Daya sir suspects him of doing this drama to distract them and attempt to escape. The escort says that the entire place was scanned prior to bringing in Katori, and all three lairs are heavily guarded, and for precaution they serve him meals in paper plates too. Two guards outside Katori's cell stop them, but the escort explains that Katori was arrested thanks to the duo, and allows them inside. Inside, they find Katori practicing karate moves (which look more like dance steps after a while). The duo request to interrogate him in private, and demand Katori what he wishes to tell them about Dongara and also where he hid Sanjay's corpse. Katori taunts them and says he just called for them as he was getting bored. The duo gets angry and eventually Katori reveals that he was the one who stole Sanjay's body, but won't reveal what he'll do with it. He gives out some ominous predictions for the CID.
Scene 4 (21:50)
We see the duo moving away discussing about Katori, when there's a gunshot behind them and they rush back to the cell and order the guards to open it. Inside, they find Katori shot upon the floor and a small revolver lying next to him. Daya sir notes that he's dead. The guy who had escorted the duo comes in and exclaims seeing Katori's corpse, and says that the two guards outside are missing. The duo wonders where the revolver came from.
Scene 5 (20:32)
We see DCP Chitrole in the bureau with Daya sir, Freddy sir, Shreya, Jayawanti and Pankaj, lamenting that Herpes Dongara's body was not retrieved by the trio after slaying him and questioning Daya sir about Katori's apparent suicide. Daya sir says that they had met him just 3-4 minutes before and they'd have taken the revolver if he had it then. He also mentions that the two missing commando guards could be involved in this incident. Abhijeet sir calls Daya sir saying that he's brought Katori's corpse, and the latter sends Freddy sir and Pankaj to help him. Apparently Salunkhe sir asked for the body to be shown to DCP sir first. The coffin is brought up and Chitrole opens it and starts crying, laughing, singing and dancing. The cops discover that Katori's body is gone and inside the box is only a letter by Herpes Dongara taunting Chitrole.
Abhijeet sir remembers that when he was bringing the body to the bureau, his car stopped at a signal and a beggar woman came up at his window asking for alms. When he told her to go earn money instead of begging, she said her baby was hungry, threw him inside the car and rushed away. Abhijeet sir rushed out after her and apparently that's when the body was taken out. Chitrole reprimands them, tells them to go to Ratan Bhavan and says that the case must be solved within 24 hours.
Scene 6 (19:29)
In the Ratan Bhavan, Ishita tells Sachin sir that they found no evidence against the haveli people in there. A servant comes in saying that 2 banjarans have come there to perform, and they turn out to be none other than Purvi and Shreya in disguise.
Scene 7 (18:01)
In the forensic lab, we see the doctors examining the women's bodies and clothing, while Abhijeet sir, Freddy sir, Jayawanti and Pankaj watch. Salunkhe sir explains that the killer decapitated both victims with a single stroke of a blunt sword. He shows them dark particles in the victims' blood under microscope and explains that its rust, but estimating the age of the same will take more time than they have. Dr. Tarika explains that their clothing is extremely old as well and judging by specimens of microbes found upon them, they were kept in some dark and decaying place for long. Abhijeet sir says that this could be a basement in the haveli, and asks Jayawanti to tell Sachin sir to find out about it.
Scene 8 (12:10)
In the haveli, Sachin sir tells Abhijeet sir on phone that he found no such basement in the place. He finds some white object lying beneath the curtains. Downstairs, Daya sir enters disguised as the "banjaran's" employer and demands to know how they've come here without him finalizing deals. They tell him about the murders taking place, he pretends to be scared and tells them to leave with him. Sachin sir says that its late at night and invites them to stay at the haveli for the night. Daya sir fakes a call to Sachin sir, who tells the haveli people that they've found a vital clue and are leaving, but nobody is to leave the haveli without permission.
Scene 9
Daya sir, Purvi and Shreya are taken to the room, where they examine the piece of paper Sachin sir had found outside Diya and Maya's room. It reads "12:30 AM, Andher Gully".
Scene 10 (9:07)
The same cops sneak through the haveli quietly at night, looking for the Andher Gully. They construe that it's a place in the haveli itself since nobody saw Diya and Maya leave the place, and it must be hidden discreetly as Ishita and Sachin sir couldn't find it. They find the Duhikanda guy trying to sneak out with a sword, and Daya sir slaps him and demands if he committed the murders. The guy confesses he was merely trying to steal and sell the sword. Shreya notes that this sword isn't bloody or rusted. Duhikanda says that the place they're standing in is the Andher Gully itself. The cops search and find a hidden path behind a cutlery cabinet, and go inside it.
Scene 11 (8:03)
The path leads to a dark and derelict room with various artifacts, and drops of blood are seen lying about. Daya sir says that this could be the dark and unclean place where the clothes were kept in. Shreya finds a bloody, rusted sword inside a cupboard. Nearby they also find Diya and Maya's severed heads preserved in jars with formalin. Daya sir finds some tiny insect embedded in a nearby cobweb, retrieves it and decides to call Dr. Salunkhe.
Scene 12
The same cops are seen waiting in their haveli room. Dr. Salunkhe and Dr. Tarika climb in from the window, discuss briefly about Chitrole's deadline and then begin to examine the cobweb and blood samples from the sword. Salunkhe sir finds out that the blood is a male's - likely the killer since both the victims were female. Dr. Tarika finds out that the insect is a dangerous pest on cotton crops called the white fly. Daya sir says that the killer is probably linked to a cotton field.
Scene 13 (0:59)
The entire team is seen in the haveli, revealing their identity to the inhabitants and Daya sir says that the killer is a person whose cotton crop was ruined. He singles out one guy Madan, who confesses that the Ratan Bhavan was once owned by his ancestors and forcefully usurped by the king Danutola. He wanted to reclaim the Bhavan and thus he pretended to be an NRI investor and murdered Diya and Maya since they were the prime investors for Ashima. He also tried to make Ashima believe the Danutola curse story to scare her away. Daya sir arrests him.
Scene 14
We see the team in the bureau and Freddy sir is glad that they were able to solve the case within 24 hours as ordered by DCP sir. Daya sir tries to comfort Abhijeet sir, who's feeling guilty for Katori's body going missing. He wonders how Katori got the revolver and what Herpes Dongara intends. Daya sir and Pankaj assure him that they'll all together confront whatever lies in store. Daya sir receives a call from ACP sir's contact in Switzerland, officer Kristoff. The team is worried that they've not been able to talk to ACP sir from 24 hours. Kristoff says that he was scheduled to meet ACP sir that day regarding Herpes, but the latter is missing from his room and apparently something dreadful has happened to him. The team is shocked to hear this.
