Her dialogue delivery/diction was definitely on point throughout. Shraddha can hardly modulate her voice. I also loved how they didn't give her any glamorous look...her wardrobe was nice yet simple. It also seemed like she barely had any concealer/foudation and then some eyeliner. I also loved the curls. It added to her persona. They're also small things but they go a long way in helping the character become more believable and likable. Not too sure if they'll pay attention to such nuances during the remake, especially with Karan on board.

The cinematography was lovely! The film captured Mumbai really nicely. I also liked the camera work during that brief trip to Ahmedabad. Nithya and Dulquer's chemistry was one of the best things about the film..it went above and beyond the script. They were naturals together. I wouldn't say the same about Shraddha and ARK in A2..but let's see. I'm hopeful of ARK doing well here though..or maybe it's just my biasedness lol.

I agree..I feel AR Rehman saves his best for Mani Ratnam. The background music in some scenes were amazing. As soon as I watched the trailer for this film, the song in the background of the trailer instantly clicked. I actually youtubed it and heard the entire song a few times without even understanding a single word because it was so catchy...whereas lately, with AR Rehman and some of his work for Hindi films hasn't done that for me. I don't think it's fair if they'll just change the lyrics to Hindi and use the same music. It's easy work and unfair because I feel the original music should always belong to the original film, in this case Ok Kanmani. And if they do this which they also did for Saathiya then it's sort of a rip off..even if it is still AR Rehman's work (if that makes sense). Why can't they just have Mani Ratnam direct the Hindi remake? I'd actually think that'd do wonders for the film..maybe save Dharma from further drowning lol.
