Rey entered her bedroom, he wanted to talk to her, tell her everything that happened yesterday. Taani saw him and came running to him, she threw her arms around his neck and hugged him tightly.
"Where were you yesterday? No calls, no messages, do you have any idea how worried i was?" Taani scolded him, But frowned finding him unusually silent.
"What happen?" Taani broke the hug and asked him, she cupped his face in her palms and made him look at her. Rey look at her, with painful eyes knowing whatever he is going to say, will break her heart.
He drew a sharp breath before he started telling, what happened yesterday and how is mother took promise from to stay away from her. His every word pierced her heart, left a scar on her soul. She muffled her sobs with her palm, he watched her as she took step back, away from him.
"Taani-" His throat went dry, he finds difficult to talk as her tear stricken face came infront of him eyes.
"Kya humara rishta itna kamzor tha? Kitni asaani se aapne mujhe chod diya. But its okay, Reyaansh, i understand you, i understand why you are leaving me. But still it hurts, you know, i was just an other girl in your life whom you can throw away when you are not in need-" Taani cried when the pain become unendurable. She turned and rushed inside the washroom and broke down in to tears. Though few days back she herself was ready to leave him, not wanting to come between him & his family, but when its actually happening, it hurts. She had given her everything to him, loves him with all her heart but the tag of other girl in his life, haunt her. He was hers but not truly hurts. Their relation was not acceptable in society and it pained her heart.
Rey entered the washroom, Rey walked over her, she was sitting in a corner, weeping silently. Heart broken after what he had told her. He knelt down before her.
"Our relation is not that weak, taani. I would never give up on you, i will just stay away from you till i'm with sharon. Once she is out of my life, I'll come back to you." Rey whispered to her. Taani look at him with teary eyes.
"I can't live like this, Reyaansh. Stop treating me like an object, jab chaha apna liya aur jab chaha dur kardiya. I tired of being your mistress. I don't to be the that girl who broke your house." Taani cried, she buried her in her palms. Rey closed his eyes, the sight was painful. He wanted to give her the place she deserve in his life, but he was helpless.
"You are not breaking anyone's house, damn it! It was sharon who came between us and it was my decision to not to accept her and continue my relation with you. Stop blaming yourself." Rey snapped at her angrily, he was tired of her blaming herself for every thing when she is not the one at fault.
"But that will not change the fact that now she is your wife while i'm here, as your mistress." Taani lost her cool and shouted, Rey was getting angry but he tried to keep calm, knowing anger would lead to nothing but fight between them. He held her shoulder and made her look at him.
"I swear on you, taani. I'll come back to take you very soon. Give me a month time, I'll make everything alright." Rey whispered, brokenly. looking at her state, brought tears in his eyes.
"How?" Her voice croaked, her throat hurt due to the continuous crying.
"Divorce. Sharon has to sign on the divorce papers. By her consent or not, it doesn't matter anymore. I won't let anyone come between us anymore." Rey said to her, with determination in his voice, letting her know that this time, he won't sacrifice her for anything or anyone.
"Do you trust me?" Rey asked her, in soft tone. Taani look at him, with teary eyes then she nodded positively."Give me a month time, I'll make everything alright for us." Rey said to her, his eyes were begging her to give a chance to him.
"Okay, but you won't do anything that will hurt people. I don't want to build my own house by breaking someones." Taani whispered, looking straight into her eyes.
"Taani, one has be hurt in all this, either it will be me & you or sharon & my family. We can't please everyone." Rey answered, hoping she would understand this. Sometimes, her good nature infuriate him. She try to please everyone which hurt her, and it had happened with her in past too.
"Whatever!" Taani mumbled, Rey shook his head and embrace her tightly. A month separation was waiting for them, which is going to be tough journey. Taani cried her heart out while he consoled her. They stayed in each others arms for sometime before they parted away and Rey left from there, giving a promise to her to come back.

When Rey entered his house in evening, he was surprised to see his best friend, Swayum there.
"Swayum! Dude, when you came?" Rey asked him, pulling in a brotherly hug.
"Just an hour back." Swayum answered.
"Lets go in our room." Rey said to them, then the trio, Rey, manik & swayum moved to the play room which was used to be their room in childhood where they used to play together.
"So, did your found anyone or still single?" Swayum asked manik, who gave a small smile in return.
"The search has ended, but still single." Manik answered him.
"You mean you like a girl but still hasn't confessed?" Rey asked him confusingly, Manik nodded, wondering how he will react when he will come to know that the girl he is talking about is nandini, his sister.
"What about you swayum?" Manika asked him, changing the topic.
"The girl i liked, is now someone else's wife." Swayum answered with dry chuckle. Manik & Rey look at him, wondering about whom he was talking.
"Due-" Rey started off, but couldn't completed as there was knock on the door. He narrowed his eyes when he saw sharon, she entered inside and placed the tray of snacks on the table.
"If you guys need anything else, call me-" Sharon said to them with a polite smile and walked out of the room.
"She has changed so much, no more a siren sharon, huh?" Swayum said out loud, remembering their childhood days together.
"She has changed my whole life. Made it living hell and you are talking about her behavior." Rey mumbled, in barely audible tone but manik heard him since he was standing near him. He shot him a glare.
"Rey, i was thinking, since i'm here after so long, lets plan a small vacation in goa. You, me, sharon, manik, nandini-" Swayum suggested, looking at his both the best friends for their opinion. Swayum smiled as they both agreed happily.
"Cool! I will do all the arrangements." Manik announced, then he frowned when his gaze fall over Rey, who was standing there silently with sadness in his eyes. Something was off about him. Manik thought to himself and decided to talk to him later in alone.
