Abhishek Kapoor denies spending 55 lakhs for Katrina's hair

As Abhishek Kapoor's movie Fitoor approaches its release date, Katrina Kaif's red hair in the movie is apparently drawing a lot of attention. A few days back, there were reports doing the rounds that the producers had spent a whopping Rs 55 lakhs on Katrina's hair color. The buzz was that hair stylists from London were assigned this task and that is what zoomed the cost to this level.

Katrina though denied this news in an interview with a leading daily. She mentioned that the news was untrue and mentioned that though her producers are kind, they are not 'that' kind.

The case took a new turn when celebrity hair stylist Sapna Bhavnani accused the Fitoor team of racist behaviour for hiring a stylist from abroad. Sapna posted a long message on her Facebook wall condemning the Fitoor team for this action.

Well, all this caused director Abhishek Kapoor to make a statement. He revealed exclusively to Pinkvilla, the truth behind Katrina's hair color. Abhishek said, "I can't help but smile when I read these speculative reports of money spent on Katrina's hair.. They are outrageous and moot. But what's important is that Katrina and Tabu both look amazing and in my humble opinion their hair even more so. So let's compliment the ladies."
