Taani look at her father and Rey, her father had asked for her forgiveness, confessing how wrong he had done to her in past, and truly miss his daughter badly.
Taani was staring at her father with moist eyes, since childhood she was the daddy's princess, the separation from her family broke her, but what hurt her more was her father's actions. She had hoped for him to stand by her side not turn his back toward her in fear of what society will say. But she could understand her father's actions at some point, they live in the society who would never accept an unmarried pregnant girl. Along with the girl, her family also face the insults and taunts from the society.
"Papa, I knew, i was wrong, getting pregnant before marriage and not telling you the name of the guy even when you asked me zillion times. I'm sorry too-" Taani cried softly, knowing she was at fault too somewhere, if she had told her parents everything not hide it, then things might be different.
"No, princess! Don't apologize and make me feel more guilty. I know you did a mistake but it was my responsibity to correct you not punish you. You had faced alot in these 5 years and i'm responsible for that." Rishi whispered brokenly, he moved close to her and embrace his daughter. Taani buried her face in her father's chest, happiness wash over her father's heart. His daughter had forgiven him. Rishi broke the hug and wipe her tears away.
"Princess, come back home." Rishi said to his daughter. Taani look at him then at rey, who was standing there and watching them silently.
"Papa, this is my home, where my reyaan and Rey live, they are my real family. I can't come with you." Taani whisperer softly, Rishi nodded, understanding his daughter have her own family.
"I understand, princess, my little princess had grown up." Rishi mumbled, patting her head. Taani smiled through her tears, feeling happy to have him there and this time, her father supported her which matter alot to her.
"Rey, take care of my princess & my grand baby. This time i won't forgive you if you hurt her-" Rishi warned him, Rey nodded in understanding. Rishi walked over him and patted his shoulder.
"You are her happiness, Rey, don't be the reason of her tears again."
"I promise, uncle. I'll keep your daughter safe and happy till my last breath. I love her-" Rey whispered, looking straight into her father's eyes. Rishi smiled, seeing the sincerity and honesty in his eyes. He knew his daughter had chosen a right partner for herself.

After Rishi left, Rey turned to taani who was little emotional, little happy. He walked over her and embrace her tightly in his arms. Taani wrapped her arms around him and buried her face in his chest. She was grateful to him, he hadnt told her but she knew its only him who brought her father here and reunit them.
"Thank you." She mumbled in his chest. Rey tighten his grip around her and hugged her tightly.
"For what, sweetheart?"
"For everything, you have done in past few days to keep me & Reyaan happy." Taani answered him with innocence twinkling in her eyes. Rey shook his head, everything he do, is not enough for him.
"Its nothing infront of what you have done for me." Rey whispered before he leaned and pressed his lips against her forehead, giving her a long soothing kiss while she closed her eyes, savoring the feel.
"Taani, will you ever be able to forgive me for what i have done to you? For the pain you had went through because of me?" Rey asked her, with tenderness in his voice. He look at her with hopeful eyes while she was looking down, nervously fidgeting with the pallu of her saree.
