Why could Hrithik not scale the mountain of super-stardom?

I was wondering why Hrithik didn't achieve super-stardom, despite having everything people say they like- good looks, dancing skills, acting acumen and media exposure.

He is a star, for sure, but why is it that he couldn't become a super-star?

What has prevented him from doing so?

I feel it's becoz of SRK...he totally dominated him I would say from directors to producers to film releasing on the same day...and hrithik's initial movie selection was way worse...it's only after koi mil gaya, it got better...

I thought he would totally vanish before koi mil gaya...atleast he got better film from film later...which made me happy...

cuz he did not really strive to achieve it... he made a couple of wrong movie choices in the beginning but everyone does so... doing one movie a year or so in the begining does not really get you stardom... he is underexposed as well.. lets just say he never wanted stardom

I dont think he wants to act.
Except if the movie is his papa's production, he really lacks the conviction to act.

Nothing. He is already a superstar. And to those who think he never tries or anything kind of that, must read his biography because he is truly a hard-worker and an achiever in all senses. His journey is totally an inspiration.

because hrithik is a private person n he markets his movies as a product
nt himself unlike others who screams from every magazines articles twitter
abt i me myself ..a secure actor does nt worry abt stardom bt only abt his work

Apu, I think he is no less than a superstar. And I would agree with people here saying that he actually didn't strive to be one but he is. And if we are comparing him with the likes of Salmaan or SRK, I think he likes to lay low plus he hardly does a movie an year, so he doesn't get noticed much. He needs to make more public appearances as well and surely needs to do more than one movie a year.
