awards are won for a single performance. Deepika's award doesn't say Best Actress for Piku, Tamsha and BM on it.

Kangana's best performance of the year vs Deepika's best performance of the year , Kangana was better but DP attended so award is hers! 😆 only in India do actors/actress get multiple nominations, everywhere else only that person's best would get nominated.

the way awards go is very different you need to know about commercial viability, future how will it go
how was overall things , PR , network, imagine the amount of publicity it got simply because both ranveer and deepika won best actors actress.

this how award works i gave three examples because deepika had great run this year so its ok
thank god that they did not give kajal 😆 due for dilwale or salman and kareena from BB 😆

its a package and deepika as a package was way better in acting , money etc etc

and about blind and PR less said the better i do not like anybody's PR 🤢

also see amitabh did not get best actor but went to ranveer for the same reason 😆 he got it as film made money, acting was good people enjoyed
