😕 Does she really? I did like her performance in the film, and she did do a great job but I dont think its award-worthy performance.

Well out of the 6 nominees she was the 2nd strongest for her role in Piku so yes she deserved an award but the IMO the critics one. The main award should've gone to Kangana who was not only brilliant in TWMR but also singlehandedly made it a huge blockbuster. 👏

Agreed, it shouldve gone to Kangana. TWMR was also commercially, alot more successful than Piku. but we all know that they didnt give it to Kangana because she refuses to attend. Was hoping at least Filmfare would be fair enough to still give it to her like last year.

Kangu should have received the BA popular since TWMR was commercially more successful than Piku. DP should have won the critics' award.

While deres no denying it was deepika's best performance till date n praise worthy bt she fell a little short vis a vis kangana's datto..Kangana refuses to attend d award events n deepika has crazy fan following which means better viewership if she gets hence deepika was a better choice to b awarded imo

She was fab,bt i loved tara more than piku...she was fab as piku bt the finesse which richa nd kalki brought to their characters mmm lets jst say in that deepu failed...bt out of all nominees she deserves to win bt only the critics choice

she was good but even padukone knows that both the years she got best actress award..she was not the 'best' but the second best

it is like a runner up being declared the winner coz the winners either they had a flop movie or they simply don't attend

what is the point of such award when you know that some one else deserved it more

her win will never fetch similar applause like that of kangana for queen..vidya for TDP..priyanka for fashion or kareena for geet

Piku was definitely one of her best performances.

We all know how the awards are given and what led to her win. Don't care for the other shows, but FF should have swapped the victories for popular and critics. The audience ain't fool. Kangy was trending On Twitter the other day due to this reason. Wait and watch again when the show is telecasted.

She was made to win in popular category only to make a sensational cover pic with Ranveer.

No wonder actors don't take their wins seriously!
