Wait a minute! Did this article just called Anandi dumb? 😲 So, basically, after 2-3 yrs (let's not count her divorcee years considering she quiet good then) even media has come to know what Anandi really is? Now that's what i call a miracle! 👏
Although i won't include crying as her most annoying habit! It's rather hypocrisy and interference in other people's business that makes her more annoying day-by-day! Unfortunately regular viewers like we can detect these traits of hers!

Lol... wow... So finally even Media awards Anandi as a Dumb bahu. I think what they said for the third bahu (Akshara) is quite applicable to Anandi too.

There are some shows which are trying to break free. But they also become victims of this syndrome and after a time those bahus become mahaans suffering endlessly and trying to solve all the problems.

The central character, even if it is male, becomes dumbo sacrificing for the family and becoming a bhakt of manipulating mother and sisters. Why not focus on these dumb male leads too. Only thing is they dont cry. Dumb female leads cant survive without dumb husbands. The husbands stand like statues while the mothers and sisters have field day. We rarely get male leads like Bhairon, shiv and Jagya who were able to put up some resistance.

And we have very clever, ruthless vamps to counteract the dumb bahus.

The audience is not dumb, because they are capable of pointing out that how dumb the leads of these shows are.

If there are not dumb leads, the forums will become appreciative threads as is happening in some other highly acclaimed show. One word against that lead, all hell breaks lose.

I am not a big fan of how anandi tries to solve her problems. I often get irritated. But the creatives want to keep her like that in the false belief that anything else will not be accepted easily. Or they maybe too lazy to experiment. When they experiment they are dissed. When anandi changed her looks for the better, she was called dolled up bimbo. When she boldly went to a movie with kids with Anant, she was criticised for forgetting Shiv. Is she allowed to move on? She should not move on because she had such a wonderful husband. When she tried to be selfish about Nimboli, she was criticised for hurting Mangala. So those who criticise her are so confused about what they want actually.

These dumb leads do have some uses though.They make some sections of audience who are watching them become aware of their own intelligence.
