Hi! This post is so last year im prolly too late to add my list lol its just few months ago but hey, I like jdramas. =) Honestly, I haven't visited I-F for monthsss & this section & BW is the only appealing ones after I'm done with indian dramas. But this forum is mostly kdrama/kpop biased so I'm off of this place haha.
For me, the format of jdramas is pretty different from kdramas, they don't focus solely on eye candies but the story. Most of them are story driven & its as if you can relate with your everyday life? Coz its about stories of different fields of work, different kinds of ppl & how a character deals with it. If ppl are trying to find love based stories then I guess kdramas suit them. But for me, they go ott & melodramatic. There are some fine ones I like too. For instance, Coffee prince, my name is kim sam soon, its ok its love & nice guy are my top4 kdramas & all of them are flawless, well written, executed & memorable. Apart from them, there are others I like but yeah I'm more of j > k person. Its not like jdramas dont have love stories anyway.
