Since I have watched PKHJD- I have always been awed by Preet , her honesty her conviction her selflessness and most important her spirit .. No matter how many times she says " Ishaan Tumne Mujhe Sambhal Liya" I believe that wouldn't have been possible if she wasn't strong herself..

The other character which intrigues you is Rizwan..,some of my friends have called him bipolar & I agree fully with them.. He brings pity humility in you but the next moment you just want to hate him..his story his upbringing all touch the compassion in you, his love for Preet & the Hoodas just touches you yet his working with the neighboring country's agencies, his realization post preets story that he is part of the wrong side of coin rises bile in you yet

Today he gave me something which lead me to ponder most people say that in love you give n you rise yet he is so selfish .. On a earlier moment, his collegue his partner in crime sana asked him if he loves Preet .. He refused to name it saying she bring me a feeling of belongingness, a peace..

N today he said I know Preet Loves me but I won't / can't acknowledge that love because if I accept that I won't be able to leave her this country & I have to go after my mission gets over.

No matter what he says or justifies himself but inside his soul he knows he belongs to Preet n he loves her yet to justify his own actions to himself he shrouds himself in selfishness..

In love too he has lost.. With his own selfishness ...

Not sure if I make great sense but once again as they say to rise in love you have to give everything n he is stays petty because he is selfish .

So i am gonna copy paste here what i wrote in payal's thread of consummation.

I searched all my favorite authors to find anything that will explain what Rizwaan feels, and finally i found it in Lemony Snickett.

I love you as misfortune loves orphans, as fire loves innocence and as justice loves to sit and watch while everything goes wrong.

Yes. That is how Rizwaan loves Preet. He loves her as everything wrong loves to destroy everything right. he loves her like every truth falls short in front of every lie .. he loves her like excess of everything beautiful .. rain and sun .. in the end ends up destroying everything ..

He loves her, again in snickett's words, "as a thief loves a gallery", and he loves her "as a crow loves a murder". He loves her withe very single destructive power that keeps this universe balanced with every goodness.

He loves her "as a secret compartment loves a secret, and as a secret loves to make a person gasp, and as a gasping person loves a glass of brandy to calm their nerves, and as a glass of brandy loves to shatter on the floor".

He loves her like everything is meant to end. He loves her like every destruction takes over the world. He loves her like "a battlefield loves young men"

He loves her to the extent of destroying her completely and then puling her in his arms and healing her with love .. until he can destroy her again. Yesterday i guess payal wrote that his suffocating love is a result of his flawed upbringing. He knows no other way other than destroying his beloved .. then healing her .. then destroying her and then again healing her .. He knows no other way, and this is not because he is lying to her about his identity. This is because he needs to break her to know he can heal her .. to know he is capable of her .. again and again .. he loves her like the constant of destruction.

Unfortunately, Rizwaan is the reason of every wound of Preet's life and he is the reason of her every healed pain.He loves her like fire . which heals, warms , burns, destroys .. and then breathes life.

Even if the wound is conscious like insulting her with shergill or unconscious like being involved with her family's massacre. He is the reason she is alone without her parents today, and he is the reason she is able to survive without her parents today.

His love is different. he will kiss her and look at her with regret in his eyes. He will touch her and step back with guilt in his shiver .. and he will hug her and then leave her alone by ruthlessly pushing her away.

He loves her like a child loves to pluck out flowers and crush them. He loves her like a person loves to crush autumn leaves in winter evening walks ..

Kinza dear u have described him so beautifully since consummation I have had this thought that whether that consummation happened to show Preet his love or his own self that she loves him she understands him before just just before that he had been raging Mad in jealousy to him he explains that as facade but I believe that emotion as genuine ...so he tend to genuine care for Preet love her yet loves himself or his so called mission how wasteful

I always had the Impression...that Rizwaan Knew He Loves Preet ...ALWAYS...!!

Its just him who gave it name of sukoon , apnapan...or sometimes even asks his Allah...what is that I feel towards Preet...

Bt He knew It was MOhabbat...bt never wanted to voice it out...

as confesssion to Himself...will make him Weak...

Little does He know ... The Confession to Himself...will free him , wil make him ever more Stronger...

I am just soo Dissapointed with him ...

His Behaviour with Preet has been Ridiculous...yes He has his own Reasons...but does he even Realize...How much It hurts his Preet ..a Woman ...when He dismisses a Physical Intimacy...??

How much It hurts...a Wife ..when a 3rd person is brought in a Marriage...

His Selfishness ...is hurting his Preet...

He loves for his Mission /His Nafrat ... still weighs more when compared to his Love that he has for Preet...
