He sat at the mandap waiting for his bride , the woman he's going to spend the rest of his life with...Visions flash through his mind of his memories, the first time he saw his love, the first kiss, the first night they spent together...those were magical moments...Siddharth sat watching all the faces who were there to share his biggest moment in life, he couldn't help but feel nervous...
Roshni was at her house waiting for them to call her to tell her the groom was arriving, ok you can do this she thought trying to shake her nerves...she thought of happy moments to calm her, she thought of Siddharth and one of the happiest days of her life
"Siddharth we have to go now before someone catches us together,you know the elders won't like to see us like this" Roshni said trying to get away from him
"Please don't go Roshni, stay with me for some more time, I need you" Sid said trying to get her to stay
"I will see you later Siddharth, meet you at our regular spot" she said as she gave him a quick kiss in his lips, surprising him as she ran away...tears welled up in her eyes as she was brought back to the present day when her mom had called her saying the groom was at the mandap...
Siddharth watched as the DD Mona and the rest of the Patels come down the step and he told himself this was it, the time was now , the wait was over and in the next hour time he would be a married man...he smiled a faint smile thinking about the idea of him being married he was one of the most eligible bachelor in India and now that status would be gone for ever...
She glanced from the top of the stairs and noticed how handsome he was looking...seeing him like this made her remember the time they were trapped in the cottage together, they were soak from fighting in the rain and she was completely angry with him
"Look Roshni I'm sorry , it's not my fault please forgive me" Siddharth said he bent on one knee in front of Roshni, she knew she would forgive him and she looked at him with her angry look but saw his hair ruffled and wet...she took her hands and smoothed it...while he got the idea...he held her by her shoulders and he leaned in towards her making his hair brush her neck and rubbing it along her face, when he looked up she was not a little more wet but she was looking hot...
He then pulled her shawl from her...and she helped him with his jacket...she started to unbutton his shirt and when she was done he leaned her into the floor of the cottage where he took his nose and rubbed it along the edge of her jaw...the feeling was so good that she took her hands and ran it through his hair...
He stopped torture her with his nose, he looked at her, he looked straight into her eyes ...making sure that is what she wanted...he then kissed her lips...though they were cold that kiss warmed them, soon the innocent kiss turned into a very ferocious one...he broke from the kiss, and she turned to the side, he was now seeing the back of her where he unzipped her dress and he pulled her close towards him, she closed her eyes as they became one...
Roshni was now almost in tears as she looked once more at how handsome he was looking, Siddharth finally saw her and as their eyes connected towards each other they both looked hurt but didn't want anyone to notice...as she approached him along with he rest of the family, he stood up from the mandap along with the rest of his families...Roshni entered the mandap along with the bride , her cousin Sam who was now ready to get married to the love of her life...she stepped back as Sam stood next to Sid now...they exchanged garlands and the wedding had started...Sid was sitting very still not looking at anyone, while Roshni was looking closely at him
" I will always love you Siddharth, and only you but if you love me you will have to marry Sam , it's my last wish before I die, please if you love me do this" she said to him
"No Roshni,I love you and want to spend my rest of life with you " he said crying trying to make her understand
"Siddharth no..please do this for me, if you don't I will leave you forever and I will hate you forever ..." she said now in tears
"Why us Roshni, why do we have to punish"
"Siddharth we cannot be together in this life but I promise to be yours in every life afterwards...I love you forever" she said holding his face
He looked at her pleading eyes...he couldn't see her like this, he didn't want her last days to be in pain, so he agreed to do this...he agreed to be someone else husband but he will always love her and she will always be in his heart...
Siddharth was again brought back to reality when he was asked to apply the sindoor in Sam head...tears in his eyes as he did it...and it was now official...he was married to someone else, some one whom he hardly knew while the one who had his heart had now collapsed on the floor of the mandap
Roshni he shouted...but it was already too late, her sickness had claimed her and she was nomore
