The Beauty of the TressesThe night was moonlit. Next day was supposed to be the coronation. Sita stood by the window and looked at the moon. " Sita what happened. You look lost in thoughts" . Hearing Ram's voice Sita turned still standing by the window " Arya you have come. Even today you are very late. The moon is in the sky for long. I was wondering post coronation will I ever get to spend time with you" Ram moved closed to her and gently held her by her waist. " Sita dear I don't know about tomorrow, but today I am with you" he pulled her a little more closer and took the clip from her hair. Sita's hair gently opened up and fell on her shoulders. Sita looked at Ram's face still feeling the fascination in his eyes as her hair unlocked. In the first couple of days of her marriage she used to blush and looked down when he did that. But now she loved to watch his eyes which were adoring her tresses. As he was lost in her tresses, she gave him a push and broke away from his arms. Giggling she moved to the other side of the room. She knew he will come for her as he loved to hold her tresses.Ram was startled by her reaction but he followed her Ram finally got hold of her hand and pulled her towards him. Sita blushed as Ram removed the Kangan from her hands and chain from her neck. Now on her bare and fair neck the tresses were looking more beautiful. Sita felt Ram's eyes boring into her as he moved more close to her.Impulsively she turned facing away from him. Ram took her tresses from behind and placed them in front. He solftly held her shoulders and Sita closed her eyes. She knew maybe that instant was going to be the last time, she was going to have her loved one exclusively for her. Her Ram, not Ram the King of Ayodhya.
