Wazir has dropped quite significantly on Monday, but the makers of the film have already declared it a blockbuster' and continued the trend popularised by Tamasha last year.

In a series of tweets, Amitabh Bachchan expressed happiness over the box office collections of the film

"ASTOUNDING !! The foot falls on Monday for WAZIR are greater than on the first day .. Maajhe .. ? adbhut ! "

"Most valuable, reliable, authentic REVIEWERS ARE the audience .. NEVER EVER DISREGARD THEM !! WAZIR badumba "

"WAZIR, normally Saturday sees slump - collections below the 1st day and then Sunday it rises again .. here it rises from the 1st day"

"Thank you WORLD for your expression of love appreciation and patronage for the success of WAZIR' !!"

With all due respect to the legendary Amitabh Bachchan, it's before the multiplex era, that films would drop after a huge opening at the box office. In recent times, only films that are not targeted at the multiplexes audience or those that are completely rejected by the audience, tend to show drops on Saturday. Otherwise, most multiplex films, the category in which Wazir falls in, tend to show good growth in business on Saturday.

Wazir has collected Rs 24 crore in 4 days at the box office.

Wazir had a big fall on Monday with collections down 55% from Monday. More than the drop it is the low level the collections have fallen to. The first four day business of Wazir is as follows.

Friday - 5,40,00,000
Saturday - 7,00,00,000
Sunday - 7,50,00,000
Mpnday - 2,50,00,000 apprx

TOTAL - 22,40,00,000

The weekend performance was not great and for any content film it has to be a 40% drop on Monday from Friday at a minimum. The film is a almost certain FLOP now with the first week business heading for around 28-29 crore nett.

So its declare a hit film ????
