It is perfectly all right to have different opinions. Some people believe that Ram was a human (albeit very brave) with no divine abilities. They are entitled to that belief. But if somebody says that it is impossible for Ram to be god, then I disagree. God can take whatever form he likes.
Moreover, according to scriptures of Hinduism, Ram was God.

akhl........in the scriptures there are contradictory things.......for eg in different puranas different gods are given importance...........In shiv puran its like shiv is the greatest one........in devi puran they say that she is the greatest and even goes to the extent that krishna was devi's avatar.......i read it very recently........really shocked to hear that..........

then in vedas they say that there is only one God who is the parampurush and controller of everyone......shiv goes in meditation......vishnu performs all the activities on His intrest....Everything in the world happens acc to him ......i think there is no need to mention abt shruthi and smriti 😊

rish_withluv,
I agree that there are contradictory things and therefore I agree that people are entitled to different opinions. Therefore, if somebody says that Ram was not God, then he has every right to hold onto that belief. But if somebody talks about Hinduism and then say that Ram CANNOT be god, then I disagree. It is the "cannnot" part that I disagree with because when you say "cannot", it means there is no possibility that Ram could be God. But possibility is there.
All scriptures of Hinduism agree that Parabrahm/Brahm/Brahman is supreme. But scriptures talk about both Nirgun Brahm and Sagun Brahm. They disagree over whom to call as Sagun Brahm. Some say Sadashiv, some say Vishnu, some say Krishn and then there are also some who say that Brahm never takes a form. Rather it is prakriti which takes form and Durga is the Goddess of prakriti; therefore among gods and goddesses with form, Durga is supreme.

Are you talking about Devi Bhagavat Puran? In that puran, Devi is considered the greatest. But even in that puran, Krishna is Narayan's avatar and not Devi's.

I accept that everyone has different opinions......and is entitled to believe whatever they wish to believe.....

However, there are some things that Ram has done that ordinary humans cannot do:

1. Freed Ahilya from her curse with just a touch of his feet.

2. At childhood, chased the king of crows all around earth.

3. Telepathically communicate with bharat and sita...

4. Broke a bow that even the strongest emperors couldn't even move.

5. Destroyed Parshuram's arrogance.

6. Kicked Dundhubi's bones so hard that they went all the way to the Yama-World.

7. Destroyed seven trees with one arrow.

8. Beheaded 14 giants with one arrow.

9. Made Khar and Dushan's army fight amongst themselves (with this....u may possibly argue that anyone with a Mohini Astra could've done this.......but just think.......would Agasta give the Mohini astra to just anyone)???

10. When the ape army went to look for Sita, they went in all directions.....Ram had a ring that would help Sita understand that these people were truly sent by Ram.....why do you think Ram gave this ring to Hanuman...and Hanuman alone....he even told hanuman a bunch of things to tell sita...........how did he know Hanuman was going to be the one who meets her?

11. How did he unleash the Sudarshana and use it as a umbrella to block Subahu, Mareech....and the other demons from destroying Vishwamitr's yagna....

Although Ram didn't use too many supernatural powers in his life.....like Krishna did.......there are still several clues that show that he really is an incarnation of Vishnu........I feel that an ordinary man could not have done the things that Ram did.......
