When JaGan and Anandi were looking for Manu and Puja, they went to Jalra to meet Nimboli. They believed that Nimboli could help them, because she was with M/P in the photo from the wedding.

But Mangala opened the door and didn't want to help them. She sent them to temple while N was playing nearby. She lied and did everything to prevent Anandi to meet with Nandini. Mangala didn't care for two kids who could easily get in trouble, she didn't care about their parents who were standing in front of her, devastated with worry.

Mangala was manipulative from the moment her character was introduced.
