@ 2nd bold - I have no issues with HMs commenting about who is "deserving" to win or not. That is a personal take so I have no issues, even if Mandana said to Priya or WC in general she/they aren't "deserving" contestant to win because of their character/game personality etc it's all fair. Mandana instead pulled out "equality" agenda based on time spent. That to me was un-fair statement because the format of the show is open to all contestants before they start the game show and winner can be anyone even a WC entrant then who is Mandana to speak of inequality of a potential winner or finale member in the context of when they arrived in the show or amount of time spent?
From where I observe seasons after seasons of BB - Wild cards have not won in the past because they are at a disadvantage of having fewer days to build up a rappo with the audience, alienation from the HMs who are there frm b4 and over all - audience has already picked their favs, audience judges them differently because they've already watched the show by then (honestly their game in tht regard is tougher then day 1 contestants) but if they persevere all those obstacles and still become the hot topic (which Priya has) of the show then they should be considered a direct threat, worthy opponents and EQUAL contenders for the undertaking of winners title. They are no less deserving then Mandana or any Day1 HM for the competition.
I am huge believer of quality over quantity - das all.
@ 1st bold - see, I don't see it as her speaking of inequality in the context of a potential winner - she didn't say so, and I don't believe she meant so, either - while the contenders are all potential winners/finale members, they are also co-contenders, and the talk sprang from Prince saying Priya was not there from day one; Priya returned that it's the same thing, and Mandana said she doesn't agree. She seems, to me, to believe WCs are not equal to original HMs based on the how long they've stayed - I don't agree with her opinion, but I do think it is valid from an original HM's perspective - the others haven't said it in so many words, but they have indicated that they feel that way, too. We'd have to agree to disagree here.
@ 2nd bold - I agree with this, and as I've said in my original post, I don't see why WCs should not win if they manage to garner more appreciation than others. Whether they can win, however, is suspect, going on past seasons, and in the context of the current WCs, the popularity they enjoy. Priya is an excellent gamer - but if she's gained in the voting department, then I imagine it is only over the last 3 episodes, and I still doubt her votes will match the others atm.
