This was one of his best album...

But the entire movie was crap..

Rasathi, putham pudhu bhoomi vendum.. I particularly like " Yutham illdaha bhoomi, oru satham illamal vendum ... N the girl choruses ' Vendum" ...

ARR - Vairamuthu were potent combo in those days

I didnt enjoy OKK even one bit, for me the movie was all style and no substance. I have no idea why they are remaking such an ordinary movie. Also the concept of live-in is quite shocking to the people of Chennai, I don't think in a cultural context the movie would work in Hindi.

I can't remember if it was Mani of Gowtham Menon who said that they had issues making movies in Hindi as their thought process was predominantly Tamil. Ever since he ventured into Bollywood, his standard have dropped. That along with his own deteriorating health and the loss of both his brothers seems to have made him lose his mojo.

Speaking of poor picturisations, the songs from Pudhiya Mugam were some of his melodious best . But Suresh menon shot them so poorly. Apparently ARR was so disappointed with the videos when he saw them and decided not to work with Suresh again.
