What is the purpose of killing off Urmi and her child? Or is it that the CVs have scraped her story line. They could have done so many stories with her baby if they kept it alive.

It's much better they killed that child. That poor child if a boy will also have another ruined future in Jhalra. Akhiraj family will never give it up and Harki wanted to make it another Kundan. How disgusting that lady is. What use is her life I can't understand. I'm so surprised to see love in Akhirajs eyes when he sees Kundan. That wretched animal can have love in the heart really surprises me.
If anyone can escape that Jhalra it's better otherwise no point in that kind of life. Poor Urmi really! They wanted to send message to audience that nothing good can come out of child marriages. They want to really instil this idea in the audiences head.

I would have preferred if at least Urmi survived. I don't know how they're allowing Urmi to live with Kundan, her illegal husband. What if they carried out the same married relationship? Isn't her marriage annulled? I get frustrated whenever Kamli refers to Urmi as Harkhie's bahu. I would loved to see Urmi going to school (with or without her child). Discovering herself and learning, trying to fit in, etc. It would have sent a strong message that second chances in life is possible with child brides. Having her stay in Jhalra and die is depressing. If social workers helped her with her child and we could have seen a single teenage mother fight obstacles to raise her child and get educated. I would have loved the site of Urmi and Nimboli in school uniform and interacting with the other girls and finding a normal childhood. I would love for them to find out that their life in Jhalra is not normal childhood by seeing the other girls.

I would like to see the same, but it's too complicated for CVs.
I mean, they finished Urmi's story in less than 10 minutes. She got the labor pains - was taken to the hospital - and few minutes later the doctor pronounced death. I had a feeling that CVs just got rid of Urmi's character.

@ bold Kundan was not just illegal husband, but molester too. Why would anyone decide to live with such a dangerous person?

One more thing - not only that Kamli referred to Urmi as Harkhie's bahu, but i think that Urmi was wearing sindoor. Wasn't that strange?

Its obvious creatives wanted to get rid of Urmi's story so they killed her along with her child otherwise they could an interesting story and something new which they have not shown before Urmi and kid both alive then it will become similar to the story of Ganga so they did not want to repeat same story again but they could keep the baby alive show a girl child instead of a boy and make the girl be the source of Kundans reformation and take up her responsibility Why they are letting Kundan go complete scott free? Now what Harki will do his another marriage for waaris 🤢That will be so wrong

I think there is a purpose... Mangala may once again speculate her own behavior and hold herself responsible for Urmi's death... she may decide to go back to Jhalra and teach a lesson to Akhiraj.

Anandi can never hold herself responsible... she will blame devima and the whole world but not herself.
So it will be Mangala who will change after this event.

Urmi could've been kept alive. It would've been nice to see her blossom and get educated and have a nice life. Don't understand why they killed her though. I liked that girl.
Kundan will never learn nor repent. Harki will say no worries I will bring another beautiful bride for my handsome chora. She's more disgusting than even Akhiraj and Kundan. Such women are a big burden to the earth.
