Recently, the Bidaai team shot for a scene where the main protagonist of the show Sadana's father dies. As they shot for this particular sequence, the entire cast -especially the girls – got so emotional that they could not stop themselves from crying off screen as well. We spoke to the two lead characters of the show Sarah Khan (Sadana) and Parul Chauhan (Ragini) to know more.
Describing the incident, Sarah says, "It was the scene in which I lost my father so I started imagining what if something like this happens in my real life. That feeling was so terrible that I could not control my tears and wept immediately. I miss my family so much and hope such a situation never occurs in anyone's life where the father dies and the daughter gets 10 lakhs. Initially, I was supposed to use glycerin for this shot but my director convinced me and asked me to think about the situation. So I did that and that shot turned out to be an excellent one."
Parul has not met her dad for over a year and that too triggered the emotional reaction. "He is in my native place and I stay here with my mum and brother. After I signed this show, so many things have happened in my life. And while doing that scene I missed my father so much that I had tears in my eyes. I am missing his hugs and everything. For a few seconds after that scene I could speak to anyone. When the scene got over, my director complimented me a lot. He messaged all his friends and asked them to see that scene," Parul reveals.
But she adds that there was more to it. "Actually, before the shot the spot boy came with breakfast but I refused it saying that this is an important shot so let me finish it first. However, by the time it got over, I was so hungry that I was also crying for food. My stomach had already started making sounds," she laughingly signs off.
