Who was impulsive this time round, R or K

This post has been inspired by a statement made by Raksha in the ED thread.

OK, I agree Robbie is impulsive most of the time, sometimes takes decisions without thinking but in this week's episodes I found Kasturi more impulsive than Robbie!!!

First situation : Robbie asks Kasturi to marry him.

Agreed timing was bad but he genuinely wanted to marry and help her out.
But he tells Kasturi - I have not received your answer. But any decision yout take is fine by me.
He did not force her to give a reply then and there.

Second situation : Kasturi agreeing to his proposal.
I don't understand what drove Kasturi to accept his proposal so quickly. Why could she not wait till the 13 days of Raunak's shradh period is over???? Honestly, I found this disrespectful!!!
Is it that she cannot wait to start taking revenge on Robbie?
Because in the temple, everyone misunderstood both Robbie and Kasturi, not just Robbie. Don't you think she could have avoided this unpleasantness to herself (Nandini's harsh words) if she had waited for a little while but would have still achieved her revenge?

Third situation : Robbie filling Kasturi's maang.

He definitely did that as an answer to JP's allegation that he is once again playing with his daughter's life and doing a drama of loving her so he can take revenge on Kasturi. To answer that, Robbie clarified that his intention is genuine and that he will marry her. By no means, I consider filling maang as the complete marriage ceremony. So technically he has not yet married her.

My opinion -

Out of all this, I found Robbie asking Kasturi to marry him and Kasturi agreeing to marry him as impulsive decisions. What happened in the temple was only an aftermath of the above decisions. But of both, Kasturi's reply was more hasty. She should have waited.

Kasturi should have waited. Period. It is not as if robbie had given a time frame within which she had to accept.

If she really wanted to make robbie suffer, she could have simply refused the proposal. Told him that she would rather remain single than marry him.

I am not against her getting married again, but let it be for the right reasons be it with robbie or someone else.

Pragalbha, i dont wish to excoriate kasturi more than I have already done, but I cannot contorl my impulses either 😆 ....i guess impulse is one among many things that prompts kasturi...the other things being lack of any reasoning capability, a blind pursual of 'justice', a fairly limited vocabulary and a limited outlook on life, a narrow dictionary and thesauraus on words such as trust, a onesided/limited outlook of the world and an ego the size of the amazon (to believe that robbie would kill his best friend of so many years for someone like her!)...I could just go on and on....but i have to stop somewhere.

real thought provoking statements. Generally men are more impulsive creatures then women,for example when it come to shopping, they buy the bigger ticket items without batting an eye, where women will more likeing go bargain hunting. this is a general statment and can be refuted at anytime😃

that being said i would say that for one to understand robbie you need to know understand that he's a rockstar, this guy is used to getting whatever he wants. therefore, him proposing at that time is just him, i dont think this guy is capable of being the caustious type. so he just jumps in when he feels its needed or not😕 Personally i dont think it matters what he's done be it propose, fill kas maang, these arent really surprise actions when you begin to understand the type of guy robbie he's all about heart and soul, very realistic for those types of artistic personalities....

Now kasturi shes a whole another story, her personality is forever evolving, and up until yesterday i was ready to throw the proviable book at her, then last night i was watching "A time to kill" and really i think prehaps i should give her a little more leeway.. for when one is struck with the pain and loss of a loved one what extent would you go to for gaining justice, yes we as viewers know that robbie hasnt done anything, but for the last 3 months robbie has tortured her husband and her, so kas going off the deep end, its possible i mean people break even the strongest ones can slip after sudden loss and we as humans need answers and look high and low for blame for that is way of closure that perhaps kasturi is so desperately needing right now...

I guess thats just a different take on the whole mess up situation...

I think that Kasturi was acting implusive, shes reached at a stage where all she see's is revenge.

If robbie had earlier shades of grey, I'm strating to think her charcater has some too, of course she's not negative but if any character was being this hasty and implusive & speciallysince we know robbie didnt do anything 😳, kasturi was the one that was moreimplusive this time, guess she's really attached to robbie, i mean shes catching his habits now too, 😆

now one more reason to prove that Roka are made for each other 😉 .
both of them are impulse, but when it comes to robbie he is impulse about only one person in the world and that is kasturi, but when it come to KC she is impulsive all the time . take the list
1. when she agreed that she stole the money
2. signing the abortion paper : will never forgive her for this
3. marrying Raunak and not Robbie when he begged for fogiveness
4. now again marriying robbie for revenge because she belives in a girl who is mentally unwell

oh now i do not leave an option to blame KC do it 😕

@Shara - I totally agree with you. Kasturi is a really impulsive person - that too in a really bad way. Most of her actions have based on random events that any real thought process. And they always end up in disaster...

well said beagle...so I feel robbie's impulsiveness is less dangerous than kasturi's mingled with her other characteristics!
