After both changed to warm clothes they went to sleep. Ishitha in the couch and Raman on the bed. Both pretended to sleep but none of them were sleeping and were lost in their thoughts.
Raman checked whether Ishitha was sleeping and saw that she was sleeping turning to the otherside. He thought to himself "What did I do? I didn't have any control over me. I couldn't stop myself. I'm getting too attracted to her. I promised Maa that I won't hurt her but I think I did hurt her. I felt so happy kissing her. It was magical. She felt so fit in my arms. So perfect. But no no I can't love her. This is not love. Its just attraction as she's a beautiful woman. I need to control myself and stay away from her"
Ishitha was so lost in her thought. "What did I do? What would be think of me? But he's my husband. I felt so nice in his arms. So safe, so happy. I felt I got everything. When he kissed me I felt like heaven. I felt so fit in his arms. I just wanted to be in his arms forever. But what am I thinking. Do I love him? I have a strongfeeling that I do. But does he love me. I feel so scared that I'll loose everything. No no. I saw love in his eyes too"
Raman thinks "I should stay away from her" and falls asleep.
Ishitha thinks "I will talk to Raman about this" and falls asleep.
Next morning Raman wakes up early and leaves from home before Ishitha wakes up. Ishitha woke up and looked around and found Raman was not in the room. She quickly got ready and went downstairs to check whether Raman was there.
She looked for him every where but he wasn't there.
"Ishitha what are you finding?"
"Mummy ji where is Raman?"
"Raman? He has gone early today as he has an early morning meeting. I thought you knew"
"No mummy ji"
"It's alright. You have your breakfast and go"
And then Mrs.bhalla asked questions about the party to which Ishitha answered a bit and said she needs to go to office early and went away.
She went to her cabin and called his secretary to ask whether he came.
"Hello, did Mr. Bhalla come to office?"
"Yes ma'am" said the secretary finding it weird that the wife is asking whether the husband is in office.
"Ok is his early morning meeting over?"
"Early morning meeting? Ma'am there's no meeting for sir today. He came in the morning and said not to disturb him"
"Oh ok. Thanks"
"What's wrong with him? He doesn't have a meeting and still he came to office and asked not too disturb him. I just don't understand this man"
As the secretary told her that Raman didn't want any disturbance she didn't go to his cabin till lunch. But since his lunch was with her she thought "Maybe now I can talk to him. I'll have lunch with him" and then she took their lunch to his cabin. He was staring at the laptop lost in his thought when Ishitha asked "May I come in?"
Raman got panicked seeing Ishitha and asked "Anything urgent?"
"No mummy ji gave me your lunch. And I was thinking to..."
"Oh but I have a lunch meeting now. So I Need to leave" and he rushed out of his cabin leaving Ishitha shocked with his behaviour.
"But his secretary said he has no meetings today. And how come a lunch meeting so suddenly?"
Ishitha worked till 6 in the office but Raman didn't return. So she thought of going back home. She went home and spent time with Mr. and Mrs. Bhalla.
Raman didn't return home even during dinner.
"Ishitha you have your dinner puttar. Raman will be late. He must be in a meeting"
"No mummy ji. I'll have dinner with him. His secretary said he has no meetings today. So he'll come soon"
"Ok as you wish"
Ishitha was sitting in the dinning hall waiting for Raman till 12 o'clock. But still he didn't return. She slowly slept keeping her head on the table. Raman came home at 1 o'clock. He was about to go upstairs when he saw Ishitha sleeping uncomfortably on the table. He wanted to wake her up but thought against it as he didn't want to talk to her. He called Neelu.
"Neelu why is Ishitha sleeping here?"
"Baiyya she was waiting for you to have dinner. Maybe she fell asleep due to tiredness"
"Ok ask her to have dinner and sleep"
"But bhai"
"Do as I say" and he went away.
Ishitha heard their conversation and thought "What is wrong with him? Why can't he talk to me and wake me up?"
"Bhabhi you have dinner and sleep"
"Ok Neelu. You go and sleep"
"No bhabhi. You eat first I'll clean them after it"
"No need Neelu. I'll manage. You go"
Ishitha was upset. She didn't eat. She put all the food in the refrigerator and went to their room. By then Raman was pretending to sleep on the bed. Ishitha was so confused with Raman's behavior but slept slowly lost in her thought.
1 week went by. The situation was the same. Raman would escape from home before Ishitha would wake up and would come late night. In office also he would ignore her saying that he's busy with meetings when he's totally free.
One day Ishitha was lost in her thought in her cabin about the sudden change in Raman. She was missing their fights. How he would call her 1000 times to his cabin in office just to annoy her. But now he's running away from her.
Her mind went to the day of the party. What happened between them. She blushed when she remembered their kiss, how he took her to their room. Then suddenly it struck her mind that Raman changed after that night. She thought for a while and tears ran down her cheeks.
"So this is the reason behind his behaviour. He's regretting it. He's ignoring me due to it. But no I will confront him"
She got to know from his secretary that he is free. So she went to his cabin. She entered without knocking the door when he looked at her surprised.
"What do you want?" he asked. "I have a meeting. I'm getting late" he said getting up.
"Why are you ignoring me?"
"What? Please stop this nonsense" said Raman looking the otherside and went to the door when she asked "Your regretting that night. Am I right? And that is the reason for you to ignore me"
"Think what ever you want " said Raman and went away. Ishitha couldn't stop her tears from coming down. She clutched on to the chair near her trying to stop her sobs but she couldn't. She stayed there for sometime and soon went to her cabin took her things and went home.
When she was passing near Mrs. Bhalla's room she heard their conversation.
"But bhalla ji at least we should tell the truth about her to Ishitha. Its her right to know these things. But I didn't say anything hoping Raman would do very soon. But he doesn't. Something is wrong between them now. I can feel it. Raman is never home. Ishitha didn't smile fully. I will tell everything"
"Thoshi ji, everything will be alright. We can't tell the truth to her. Raman himself should tell it. We can't come in between them"
Ishitha was shocked to listen to this. She soon went to her room and thought "What is going on? Who is this her?"
Ishitha all of a sudden felt so scared of her life. She cried for a long time thinking about everything, cursing herself for falling in love you with Raman. Exhausted due to crying continuously she slept on the couch. Thoshi came to the room and felt so sad for her. But she felt guilty for hiding the truth from her so she didn't wake her up and went away.
Next day morning Ishitha woke up with headache due to her continous crys. Her eyes were red and swollen due to continous crys. She washed her face well so that no one would realise that she was been crying for long and went downstairs.
Mr. and Mrs. Bhalla was silent during breakfast. So Ishitha spoke "Mummy ji can I go to amma's place for some days?"
"But puttar all of a sudden?"
Ishitha was trying hard to control her tears so she said "I'm missing them. That's it"
"Oh ok. You can go" said Thoshi thinking that a distance would definitely help Ishra to solve their problems.
"I'll tell amma" said Ishitha and ran to her room unable to control her tears.
She thought "I was foolish. I felt so badly that day. But he, he regrets it. I can't take this anymore. I need sometime. I will make up my mind and come back to this house like the Ishitha who came here before. Why murugan, why you make me fall in love with him to hurt me. He doesn't love me. He regrets me. Maybe he regrets our marraige as well" cried Ishitha collapsing on the floor. She then quickly packed her things to go to her amma's house.
