I have no idea. I started seeing the show after the leap. Someone said that Survi and Simran are cousins so I guess Karan will also be her cousin and Survi should have such a man that Kartik feels threatened.
M imagining this scenario where this guy taunts Kartik that u cant have Survi bcos m going to get married to her and in rage and jealousy Kartik blurts out to everyone that Survi is his since he filled her maang with sindoor. 😉
