Shahid and Rohit Shetty to team up?

Rohit Shetty's first eight directorial ventures had Ajay Devgn playing the lead - 'Zameen', three 'Golmaal' films, 'Sunday', 'All The Best', 'Singham' and 'Bol Bachchan'. He broke the practice with 'Chennai Express', where Shah Rukh Khan played the lead.

With the success of his latest film, 'Dilwale', which also stars Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon, it seemed as if the Shetty-SRK combo will continue for a series of back-to-back films. But there might well be a twist in the tale.

If all goes well, we might see Shetty teaming up with Shahid Kapoor for the first time, as reported by 9xe.com. The report also said that Shahid met Shetty twice in last couple of weeks.

The source quoted in the report also mentioned that both Shahid and Shetty are looking forward to working with each other as soon as a good or right script turns up. Let us wait and watch for the occasion when Shahid will be seen doing some acrobatic car stunts in a typical Rohit Shetty film.

Currently, Shahid is busy shooting for Vishal Bhardwaj's ambitious project, 'Rangoon'. Rohit, on the other hand, is enjoying the success of his commercial caper, 'Dilwale'. The SRK and Kajol starrer has released alongside Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Bajirao Mastani'.
