from pritam (amits bro)...news..

hi ppl...amit is singing for pritam chakraborty in a movie named harpal starring shiney ahuja and priety zinta..
its a duet song with shreya ghoshal who already recorded it..
amit has to go to mumbai and record for himself..
javed akhtar has written the lyrics for it..

Actually I have noticed that Idol contestants in general tend to get bigger banner breaks, and if this news is true then its another feather in the cap for Amit.

Also full credit goes to the Idol jury...who recognized voice quality, even in a relatively untrained singer, and helped the transition to playback level.
