Zarre Zarre Mein Usi Ka Noor Hai
Jhak Khud Mein Woh Na Tujhse Door Hai
Ishq Hai Usse To Sab Se Ishq Kar
Ishq Hai Usse, To Sab Se Ishq Kar
Is Ibadat Ka Yehi Dastoor Hai
Is Mein Us Mein Aur Us Mein Hai Wohi
Is Mein Us Mein Aur Us Mein Hai Wohi
Yaar Mera Har Taraf Bharpur Hai ..

There's one God. There's one religion. There's one world. We believe to worship humanity. Mass killings are against humanity. Terrorism is against humanity. Live and let live. Produce arms to defend not to attack. Feed others to love, not to hate.

But there are people who don't want peace. There are people who enjoy the effects of terror. They derive sadistic pleasure just to feed their stomachs. They become ruthless. They become lifeless. They become loveless.

They kill, they attack, they produce more manpower. They brainwash people. They inject an idea not into their minds but also into their souls.

Kids are vulnerable. They have delicate tender souls that are easily infected by germs.

The same happens with our male protagonist RIZWAN KHAN.

RIZWAN KHAN- THE 6 YR OLD

A kid lived with his parents peacefully at their abode. A knock changed their lives. A knock changed his fate. A knock that changed his identity. Perhaps, they hadn't opened the door.

He hid beneath the bed in a hope of being saved. He saw his parents shot in front of his eyes. He saw them dead. The roses had turned into thorns.

He was taken to a place with a bunch of kids of same age. He stood their petrified, hiding behind his colleagues in the hope that the man with the cap wouldn't notice him.

But alas!!! Only if he could decide his destiny. HE was THE CHOSEN ONE. The reason simply being his disturbed panic-stricken appearance, a typical sketch that would be easily manipulated.

And yes, the morons were successful in their work. They left no stone unturned to mould rizwan khan into their ways.

Years of training gave them one more "kaabil sipaahi".

RIZWAN KHAN- THE FATHER

Fate does the trick again. He is brought to India to begin their mission. Things began. Years after he was asked to play a role for their mission.

The role gives him a baby girl whom he refuses to discard. He adopts the girl as he knew what it was to be an orphan.

He subconsciously formed such a bond with the baby that there was no looking back. His life had changed through years from the time he was six. The girl resurfaced the values he had inherited ( from his parents). As there is nothing mentioned prior of his family. His deeds do us a favor in pointing out his values.

He brought up kavya as his own blood. What can be more good than this deed of his? To adopt an orphan as his own is greatest thing one can ever do.

" zarre zarre mein ussi ka noor hai
jhaank khud mein vo na tujh se door hai"

what more aptly define this? "bacche bhagwan ka roop hote hain"

A 6 year old who is still alive in him related so well with this fact.👏 BRAVO!!!!

How apt the scene was.😳

ek bacche ne dusre bacche ka dard mita diya hamesha ke liye...

" aap mere angel ho. aj aapne mujhe phir se raasta dikhaaya hai".

do i even need to elaborate where the future shall take them?

Rizwan even though injured agreed to tell kavya the story. Otherwise his secret would have been out. That is one reason. But another reason that rizwan gives the name and excuse of ishan is he cannot neglect HIS daughter.

This man is desperately trying to forget that kavya isn't his daughter. But has he got any success?

The girl whom he carried on his shoulders. The girl in whom he invested 5 years of his life. The girl whom he nurtured the way his parents had brought him up.
The girl who once again rekindled the hopes, aspirations and vulnerability of the
6 YR OLD.

The man can deny hoodas, the man can deny the camp, the man can deny his mask, the man can even deny his wife... But this cannot deny his DAUGHTER. The first relation that he formed because of dead ISHAN HOODA.

The first person he met was KAVYA when she was handed over to him in the hospital.

The first person whom he met, whom he accepted and she accepted as RIZWAN himself. 😉

Recall the setting of the scene. It was the hospital ward where his colleagues tell him of the kid. They suggest to give him into orphanage. He denies.
They were enemies indeed. If riz would have agreed, they would have either given her in orphanage or would even have killed her.
Instead riz takes her as his own responsibility.

RIZWAN first became a father, then a nephew and lastly a husband.

So rizwan the father tops my list.

RIZWAN KHAN- THE NEPHEW

I have nothing much to say here. The man even though using hoodas for his own benefit can't help getting involved in them.

He has become ishan for them giving them a piece of his kindness, warmth and love.

He received what he always yearned to.

Their love, their support, their care and concern brought out the 6 year old back. He intended to live a life that he would have if his family was alive. He found a shelter in their hearts.

He is guilt trapped now and again for using their innocence, their trust and their love in a wrong way.

Howsoever he may hurt indirectly, he makes it a point to mend his ways to keep them happy. He tends to think for them not just to protect his identity but to also keep them a happy family.

" ishq hai usse toh sab se ishq kar
iss ibadat ka yahi dastoor hain"

What else can fit this? The man loves the family as his own.

A clever illustration would be saving kukuji. Even though knowing that kukuji as an investigator would be a threat to his mission, he asks his camp to leave him. The time he gets neeti's call, he's again forced on a guilt trip.

RIZWAN KHAN- THE HUSBAND

Last but never the least comes to my list is RIZWAN-THE HUSBAND.

A complex, intriguing and a complicated relationship. For the sake of his angel, he got engaged in a relation his family wanted. Enter PREET KAUR BHULLAR whom he knows only as preet. He doesn't have any expectation from the relationship as he never wanted any. The best way to keep the drama going, he agrees. He makes it a point that the girl shall take care of his baby.

Years pass by, together they raise their pari, together they nourish the family. They become one for the sake of family. They are available for their daughter as mother and father. They are there as son and daughter-in-law for their family. But within the four walls they are friends, just friends till the night when he accidentally falls on the top of her and she screams.

The perfect castle comes crashing down as he knows her past. He's guilty of being involved somewhere.

He got disgusted with the fact that his mates had molested her. Unable to control, in a fit of rage he goes to confront atif...

such an intense scene... 👏 👏 👏 👏

"iss mein uss mein aur uss mein hai wohi
yaar mera har taraf bharpur hai."

Rizwan doesn't distance himself from preet after knowing that she was molested. The incident doesn't deter his approach towards her. He instead is more careful, and not DISGUSTED (as normally a society may treat a victim)

His approach is not just guilt driven, but it gives away his realization of her pain, her loss.

So is this a facet of ishan? It can't be. The sole trait of understanding that seeps into rizwan is a result of his values and upbringing ( till the time he was with his parents). This level of maturity is evident not only in him as ishan but also as a " team member".

He always comes up with a reasonable and correct solution without the use of violence.

RIZREET analysis in detail shall be below...

The character rizwan is in layers. It can't be exactly called layered writing.

But that's how the character will get complicated...

The first to unwrap is RIZWAN THE HUSBAND. His guilt is pretty evident when he worries about preet's blind trust on him.

The second shall be RIZWAN THE NEPHEW. The time kukuji was in danger, he became irrational as he considered him as family.

The last would be RIZWAN THE FATHER. This would be most interesting to watch. Am glad they have brought back kavya. So now papa's beti knows of papa's ghaav. The fb scene where rizwan smiled when he remembered of the band aid kavya game him. ⭐️ how far can he go on pretending?

As i said earlier he can deny anything and anybody, but how can a father ever deny his little angel? Aur kehte bhi hai na, baccho se koi jhoot nahi bol pata...😳

Neither could rizwan... The person who saw the blood was his daughter... His real better-half who knows it right from the beginning as an infant of he being rizwan and not ishan... 😉

kasam se dono baap beti ne acche secrets paal rakhe hai...😆 😆

i loved the whole sequence of wound secret... and when i relate it with the flashback shot of hospital ward when rizwan holds the baby for the first tym, i can simply say WOW!!!! 😃

THE END OF RIZWAN- NAAMA... WENT EXTRA LAMBA 😆 SHOOT YOUR QUERIES PLEASE... OTHER POSTS FOLLOW UP...

YOU HAVE ISHAN HOODA, PREET , RIZREET IN LINE..

PUT YOUR THOUGHTS HOW THIS WAS... SHALL CONTINUE THE OTHERS SOONEST...

"Poochte hain woh ki Ghalib kaun hai!

Koi batlao ki hum batlayein kya?"

After a long time of introspection i present you all ISHRIZ- THE DILEMMA.

Thank you raveena, kinza, asmita, naseem, sohini, payal, rupali for making me revisit my own interpretation with a new perspective. 👏 👏 👏 ladies.. thank you so much.

"What's your name,' Coraline asked the cat. 'Look, I'm Coraline. Okay?'
'Cats don't have names,' it said.
'No?' said Coraline.
'No,' said the cat. 'Now you people have names. That's because you don't know who you are. We know who we are, so we don't need names."

Humans need identity. Humans want to be known. Humans want to be remembered. Not just a mere face but a NAME.

They become obsessed with it to such an extent that they forget the REAL SELF.

They begin relating the essence of their life with a NAME. Yes the name defines them. Or do they define their name?

Whatsoever it might be, names have power.

THE REAL THE UNREAL THE SURREAL

What is the meaning of life? What is the purpose of my life? Who am I?

They are the questions that we tend to ask ourselves always. Our protagonist is no exception to this cycle.

" Main rizwan khan hoon. Bas ishan hooda ki zindagi jee raha hoon."

An irony in itself the statement may sound. How aptly the cat replied, "we don't need names because we know who we are. You need a name because you don't know who you are."

Rizwan is so unaware of who he is.

" rizwan aur ishan ke beech ka fark samajhe ki koshish kar raha hoon."

One can see the difference only when two things, two people are DIFFERENT.

How can this ever apply to a single person who although with two names lives ONE life.

Life is a role-play. We are mere actors. Does rizwan realize this?

He was asked to play a life called ISHAN HOODA. The only information he had was "ishan hooda apni biwi se bahot pyaar karta tha"

An idea so viral. An idea so contagious. An idea that sketched RIZWAN KHAN least of his knowledge.

The idea which he named 'ISHAN HOODA'. The idea that brought his real self on screen without his knowledge.

"An idea is like a virus. Resilient. Highly contagious.
And even the smallest seed of an idea can grow. It can grow to define or destroy you."

An idea that seeped inside him so much that he always makes a point to address his moves to be that of ISHAN HOODA.

A point that affirms his OWN belief of GOODNESS as a quality of ISHAN HOODA which is again an assumption.

The fact that dead ISHAN loved his wife doesn't justify or prove that ISHAN was a family man.

Yet this assumption is believed as ISHAN'S reality by RIZWAN. On the contrary, this so called assumption is RIZWAN'S REALITY.

Owing to play the life of a stranger, rizwan tries to put the best foot forward but fails each time as he is unaware of those intricate details of ISHAN'S past which preet wants to know. He bluffs yet he fumbles. Well yes character ISHAN has got a poor actor named RIZWAN.

To act convincingly is to erase one's essence from it. To act really is to live the character openly, freely and fully.

there are two things: " maine vo character kiya hai." and " maine vo character jiya hai."

which is more apt for rizwan? select one for yourself.

For me rizwan falls in first category as i mentioned before rizwan might be kaabil sipahi but he is a poor actor.

The time he's confronted with ISHAN'S REALITY OR PAST, he fumbles. He frets and fumes. He goes into reverse psychology. He handles the situation and later gives an excuse that ISHAN would do the same.

It is said PAST is always an inseparable part of a person's life. There is a PRESENT because there was a PAST.

Without living the past or without experiencing the past, how can one live the present? RIZWAN KHAN lives a life of his own made by his OWN past...

The idea of ISHAN HOODA has grown to such an extent that it has become impossible to separate the PARASITE and HOST.

Rizwan right from the time he was 6 has lived a life that others showed him. He moulded himself in a manner he was subjected to. He brought out the raavan which others wanted to see. He wished to destroy the culprits who killed his family. There was a kid who was nurtured by his parents still inside him. He was forced to change his thoughts by the camp. He changed his thoughts but thoughts can't change the soul. The soul that still has love, the soul that still is pure, the soul that still has goodness. Thoughts became evil but his soul didn't permit their dominance. He wanted revenge and not TERROR.

Neither his thoughts veil his soul nor his soul dominates his thoughts...

How beautiful...👏

It can grow to define or destroy you

The new found idea of ISHAN HOODA shall destroy the thought and unveil his soul.

" Tum bahot acche ho ishan" a slight mention of such a thing induces a guilt trip always as RIZWAN thinks of himself as his THOUGHTS and preet thinks of him as SOUL.

Isn't it natural? We see ourselves as our THOUGHTS which others make us believe... But the real us is our SOUL...

THOUGHTS are 'MERE' 'AAPKE' 'SABKE'
SOUL IS 'MAIN' 'TUM'

Our life defines the journey from MERA/AAPKA to MAIN/TUM.

Rizwan needs to understand that evil and good co-exist. The traits that he name ISHAN HOODA are his own values.

Dekh paap ke taj raavan
ram tere mann mein hain
ram tere mann mein hain
ram mere mann mein hain

P.S: THE POST MAY SOUND LAME...😆 😆 😆 WROTE IN A SLEEPY STATE.. SO M SORRY IF THIS ISN'T UPTO THE MARK.. LEKIN AAP SAB KE ATULYA VICHAR TOH BANTE HAI 😳 DON'T FORGET TO SPAM THIS THREAD 😆 CRITICISM IS WELCOMED ALWAYS...😉

Great analysis! Just need one clarification - I thought Preet wasn't raped... She was molested. Am I right? Not sure if I understood it correctly.

Fantabulous...Loved d way of ur writing of how u depicted d real Rizwan(in d disguise of Ishaan) in various forms...As a father first, as a nephew and as a hubby!!!!Yes the sequence in which he got attached to Hooda's is this...but it also holds the priority order in dat way only!!!!Kavya is his first relation and he cannot deny her at any tym...A sensitive relation which haunts him besides Preet when he is abt to go or ditch d family!!!!!And ur prologue where u described how a kid's vulnerable nature&mind is moulded in a way to satisfy the demonic pleasures and selfish motives deserves a big applause...Nobody could have put in a much better way!!!!And although there is so much less of Kavya-Rizwan bond in d show, whatever u described from such a short notice is praise worthy!!!And rest all u did it with Perfection...The RizwanNama...Why dont u share this on twitter lyk Raveena's Story of my life...Felt great reading thru it!!!!!!As Rizwan Khan rocks as if sky is d limit, the posts here increases the understanding quotient of Rizwan,d complex charcater!!!!!Thanks for d pm dear!!!Eagerly waiting for ur next outing!!!!!

Preet had told rizwan after her past revelation "unn logo ne mere saath jabardasti karne ki koshish ki"

What does this mean?
