Hello people! This is my first post here but surely not on IF. Some of you might have seen my posts on other forums and rather I see many of my buddies from Reporters forum here. And it feels good to have familiar people around.
Coming to my post, I have been really liking Iqbal and Mona's chemistry off lately, well which is the very reason that brought me here. Very honestly, when this show was introduced, I didn't have much interest because the concept of "Family trying to bring back lost love in a mature couple" seemed quite overused and typical kekta-ish. But surely the Indo-Pak angle introduced later has made the show quite interesting. More so because we often have an Indian guy and a Pakistani girl in Indian films/shows. But for a change this scenario is different and much refreshing. Not just it has made Rizwaan-Preet a complicated/layered couple but also added an angle of tragedy/pain to them. And the best part is that even though there's an angle of pain and mistrust between them, Rizwaan is still the first and only person in Preet's life who will go to the end of the world for her happiness <3 After seeing the cold and selfish attitude of Hooda's against Preet and how they made her embarrassed in front of a girl who came to their house only just a few days ago, I am actually glad Rizwaan is not one of them. Rizwaan and Preet have a story and journey of their own, separate from the Hooda family. I would really love to see a time when Preet stands by him and helps him come out of this mess. Helps his misguided mind see light. (Ofcourse this will take its own sweet time) And even if standing by him means standing against the Hoodas.
And thus for starters, I would really like if Rizwaan shares about his injury only with Preet and not with any of the Hooda. By doing that not only his wound can be taken proper care of (And ofcourse there can be some adorable moments) but also he will be able to easily dodge Shergill. I think he can request Preet not to tell about his injury to anyone in family as they will get worried. It can be the bst solution to this situation.
At the end I would just say that dunno why but since the time Sid and rest of Hoodas have behaved in such a mean way with Preet, I wish they dont get involved in anything that is personal to Rizwaan and Preet, including this injury. It shall be a treat if Preet nurses him secretly and they get to spend some sweet compassionate moments together. It will not just make Rizwaan all the more attached to Preet but also make the physical intimacy between them probably a little more comfortable.
