One thing you're never short of on a busy road is number plates. The simplest of all travel games is a Number Plate Alphabet.

Taking only the first letter of the group on each car, see how long it takes you to get from A to Z. Or for a quicker game, takes any letter on the number plate.

The letters must be spotted in the correct sequence. But don't spend too long searching for the letter I — it's only used as the initial letter of a licence plate in the Republic of Ireland!
