TV stars on Ashtami and Durga Puja

Friday is Ashtami, considered very auspicious for Bengalis. We ask some TV stars about how they plan to spend the day and also about Durga Puja.

Rohit Roy (Host of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa): "For us Durga Puja is a family affair. Me, Mansi, my daughter Kiyara, Ronit and his family will go for anjali in the morning. Then, in the noon, we will offer bhog to maa. It is amazing as you get positive vibes after the puja. Then, in the evening, we will hang out and go to other pandals.
This is year I am missing my mum, as she is in the US. This is going to be the first time that we will be celebrating puja without mum.

All Bengalis are great food lovers. They think about lunch while finishing their breakfast. I love misthidoi a lot. All the pujas are memorable for us. All these 4-5 days we meet up with different people whom we rarely meet so it is good. Both I and Ronit are shooting so we have work in two shifts for Friday's holiday."

We wish all our Bengali and non Bengali stars a very happy Navratri and Durga Puja as well as Ashtami.
