Because he didn't need to try and get nominated. Him being the captain was safe anyway. So him saying he didn't say anything about mandana is nonsense. And even mandana is dumb not to understand this fact

Exactly. Him and kishwer knew they couldnt win against the friend badmouthing a friend. So they has zero chance. Lucky for suyesh he was captain.
