Hi All,

I've been following ETRETR from the start and in light of the recent episodes I couldn't help but create a discussion thread.

My query is - does anyone in the rajparivar think anymore?

I feel like everyone has just shut their thinking caps and are mute spectators only reacting to situations - not accessing or revisiting the facts.

On the night of Karwa Chauth - BRM brings Fake Sulakshana - that very night when Ranaji and Gayatri are about to start their lives together so to speak. Only Rajmata raised the question - why was she brought back that day when Ranaji accepted Gayatri? Rajmata also wanted to investigate how Sulakshana was found etc. But then nothing.

Like wise Rajmata gets stuffed in the closet and locked up - isnt it obvious that someone is clearly out to get them? These can't be coincidneces - someone is clearly on their case?

When Ranaji came back to Ameerkot (episodes 1-5) his car was fitted with a bomb - that investigation seems to have been halted. He is aware that he has enemies. This uncle and chachi are clear enemies but BRM - that was somewhat expected but Ranaji doesn't get it.

Jhumki's slip ups - the random "o terii!" should be enough to generate suspicion - why isn't anyone investigating?

i understand u all the way

but i came to conclusion that its a show and sometimes if they want they will finish their idea and sometimes they won't

Like all soaps, to prolong the suspense of discovery, stretch it like a rubber band, till they cant anymore and it snaps, the yard-o-meter being the TRP scale. All the characters may as well be the pillars in the palace [except on the day of revelation by the FL mostly] with eye popping expressions, when a new accusation/sensation is created, then go back to being a pillar.

To watch a serial, keep the thinking caps aside and enjoy the dramatics. though was hoping ETR2 would be different.

Dont expect any kind of reasoning from this show.

The makers can do anything drop any track start any track without giving any kind of continuity

th do think but unfortunately so many things are happening in such a small span of time, they are unable to concentrate on any. If they start to investigate one thing, they will be awarded with additional case which will be more juvenile and they have to leave the one in hand and take up the other. In any case they will close all the left ones later when they feel they are stuck without any further ideas.

With regard to Chachaji & co, though Ranaji is having doubts, he can't take action based on doubts but have to have solid evidence which is lacking in all cases. and about BRM, he can't think her as bad even in his nightmare.

About Jumki's slip of tongue " Oh terri" can be ruled out as her practiced word by living with the Banjara's for the past 6 years when she was unaware of her royal heritage.
