I am a fan of Sherlock Holmes series. Do anyone here ship the series?😊
If yes,which is your favorite SH novel or story? Share why do you like SH stories and how do they differ from other detective novels?

P.S: My personal fav is "The Adventure of the Noble Bachelor"and "The Adventure of the Greek Interpreter"(because of Mycroft)

It's been REALLY long since I read a Sherlock novel... 6-8 years I think... But I really liked them at that time! After that I started reading Agatha Christie and I always felt a lot of the Poirot ones were a bit like Sherlock (the companion, the dumb inspector 😆), although I loved both. 😳

I think the first one I read was A Study in Scarlet and it was also my favourite. And I also liked the one with Irene Adler. 😆

I started watching the BBC Sherlock a couple of years back, that's great too!

I'm a big fan of Sherlock, I'm afraid I've never read Agatha C's novels.

I love the television series.

Have read - hound of baskerville for school.

planning to go back to the entire series soon-ish [once i get through my infinite pile of to be read stuff 😆]

@Destiny_rose - Give those a try, there was a time when I was absolutely crazy about her novels. 😳

Some of them were REALLY good. Personally, I preferred Poirot over Miss Marple (they were two of the detectives created by her), but they were both good. 😳

@TeekhiMishti - Everyone loves the TV one 😆. And Cumberbatch. 😆

Hound of Baskervilles was a good one too. :)
And WOW, you had Sherlock in school? Nice. I had to study Shakespeare. :( I know he's good, but still... All that old english... really annoying at times. 😆

@Nickel8, I will, in fact I'm going to tomorrow. Poirot over Miss Maple, I'll keep that in mind :D

Who doesn't love Cumberbatch ? I never knew Sherlock would look so attractive :P

I think we both should try Agatha because she's rumoured to be better. 😆

Hound of Baskervilles was a good one too. :) It was bloody brill. I swear i saw a baskerville hound on the hill next to my bedroom for weeks
