Same goes for manik, he needs to overcome his jealousy(which i think given manik possessive nature is really hard). But here i would place a a bit of fault on nandu too, as it is her place to talk abt this to manik clearly and make him understand. Nandini will need to balance.

Don't even care if he is turned negative as long as Manan is kept from being diluted to this level.

Agree Aryaman needs to understand that Nandini's first priority is Manik. But Nandini should also let Aryaman be..instead of calling him up then and again. This just makes Aryaman get even a bit of hope that perhaps...she is dependent on him even now after Manik has returned.

Manik's feeling I don't feel is jealousy...it is infact that Nandini is being all cozy with a person whom he dislikes. Manik seeing Aryaman replacing Kabir itself is irritating to him. Added to that Nandini worrying about Aryaman even when they have a romantic moment together...it is unacceptable to Manik. Manik was always like that...for eg: when he wanted to get Nandini alone with him..he would ask Navya to go and look at notice board or something. He would always try to pull her into a corner to get her full attention. Manik is somebody who changed himself so much to match upto Nandini as in being the kind of guy Nandini wanted him to change to be. He let Nandini turn him from a monster to a human. Since he sees Nandini as his only shining star...he expects full attention from her.

Jealousy would have been there if he felt that Nandini was no more having feelings for Manik. Manik knows that Nandini loves him deeply. But Manik wants Nandini to keep others out of their alone time...even if its Navya or Fab 5 members or Aryaman. He wants that time to be just him and Nandini...like they spent on their various alone times together..when they romanced each other!😳

Yes Nandani and even Manik sometimes held back from revealing some stuff to each other in earlier part of their relationship. But it was their misplaced sense of protecting not worrying each other about things they consider unnecessary that led to these things.

And Nanadani didn't tell Manik about Pandit because she was not sure about his intentions until the night of fusion concert when she directly confronted him and earlier she kept her vague intuitions about Pandit to herself because she had a vested interest in performing with Manik at any cost so didn't want to jeopardize that when she herself didn't really believe anything bad about Pandit.

The fact is that even if they kept some things from each other, the point is that neither did they share that with anybody else either. They both consider each other as the only person they would discuss regarding their problems and never held anybody else above each other in that respect.

Also yes, Manik shared more of his problems because Manik comes from a problematic family and all his friends are the same, but Nandani never was shown to haIve many such problems in life which is why they fit and complement each other so well...

I guess we will go in circles here, so let me just say that the way I saw Ky2 S1, the deep understanding and friendship between Manan was as much a part of their relationship as was romance and passion.

And suddenly Nandani being afraid of Maniks anger in trying to talk about Maddy or Aryaman is just BS after a whole year of the Manan we were fed with.

Sorry but just can't buy this Aryaman bff thing or Nandani being afraid of Maniks anger even for a second.

I would rather stop watching the show than see the cvs dilute Manan to such an extent.

Even toning down Manan romance and lack of nuances in showcasing their romance is acceptable to me, but Aryaman or anyone else taking an equal importance as a bff like what Manik was shown in S1 is not accepable to me.

Plus Manik is Nandini's BFF n vice verse! Again I refuse to believe Nandini when she says that she and Manik were never friends and that Arya is her BFF!! After all that has been sold in S1! Theirs was a perfect relationship that grew beautifully n healthily with time!

I have nothing more to add as you have said it all! Arya can be a friend, a good friend, a great friend(although he is no more a friend since love feelings have crept in from his side). But he can never be Nandini's BFF! Even if he ever does, he comes after Manik!
