Mirabell, I have always found something so intensely romantic about this dialogue from Kabhi Kabhi, "teri ek chup mein jo hai chupi woh hazar baaten ki baat hai' but after this chapter an unequivocal "yes" coming the way that it did, surpasses that.

But, it was the mood that you created leading up to it that bewitched. The increasing sense of urgency with which she tapped those messages on "his" phone. Pouring out her feelings ... drenching him once again ... Kya woh saamaan sambhal kar rakha hai ... abhi bhi ...

How beautifully you put it, "A forest nymph cavorting with hearts she stole a lifetime ago"
I want to know of that time from a lifetime ago when she "stayed.awake to watch him sleep".

I know there are ifs and buts, but the affirmation when it came, left me floored. Once again I'm going to borrow words to try to do justice to the intensity of the scene and to your writing here ...

What an update this was... I absolutely loved it! The build up from the beginning to the revelation at the end was very well written and believe me it had me at the edge of my seat. The up and down emotions crystal clear, where my heart felt them for her, for him... for them. And that my SS is the beauty of your words, to captivate the reader in the land of Second Chances.

Seeing how they felt for one another ten years ago, makes me wonder how did they ever let each other go. In that short time the feelings were quite strong which once again has resurfaced. And while NK will always be part of Khushi, but to me, she is getting back the love that was lost. And that is the second chance for her to grab on to now and never let go. I do hope writerji, she doesn't...

What I really loved was seeing this from Khushi's POV, we got to see her think selflessly for once. Following her heart, though she's still cautious, rightfully so. But none the less at the end she allowed her heart to answer. While the "but" will continue to weigh on her, as they take the next step forward. Though for now this is a really good first step.

I am looking forward to see many more yes's 😳 and revelations of those but's 😕... bring it on!

Ha! Made it this time to page one...sure been a while! My Res! :)

What can I say now that I haven't already? With every turn this story stuns and surpasses any prior expectations or notions. When you talk of paradigm shifts, I have to say that is exactly what is so beautiful about Second Chances...in fact sitting here reading this incredibly moving chapter on a gradually growing colder morning...I have goosebumps...I had to go back and read it again to capture all those nuances and emotions that are intricately woven into their interaction...wow.

More and more as we understand their incredible chemistry and get these tiny glimpses into their past liaison, I am amazed that they actually ever let each other go at all...I mean why? A false sense of ego? They do not seem those kind of people...an angst about what society might say? But, Khushi married Naren, who was also in Uni with her right, so it could not quite have been that after all...hmm...truly this is the most bewildering question I run up against after seeing just what they mean - and could have meant - to each other...

For me the most beautiful sentence in the entire chapter was what Arnav said - I do not want to go anywhere without you - true blue Dr. Raizada. I also loved how you showed us an Arnav that pushed at the bit to get her to confess to him about what she felt for him. He did not give an inch...probably the only way to deal with this ridiculously crazy woman...he extracted his pound of flesh all right...with every 'because' Khushi was complicitly drawn deeper into his web...

A true affirmation of the senses...Khushi confirming to Arnav with her 'yes' that no matter what she may say, she can no longer imagine moving ahead without him in her life either...and that is as it should be...she has led him quite a dance till now...loved the analogy to the forest nymph cavorting with the hearts she stole that Arnav seems to think she is...she stole his heart and never returned it...so amazing. 😳 Arnav affirming for his part that he wants a place in her life...he and Mohan want a place in Meera's life and hers...and refusing to let any more 'buts' stand in the way...amazing!

Also explains in some subtle way why, although he has this most incredible friendship with his ex wife, it was never really love with Maya...like one is supposed to feel for a partner, a soul mate, a spouse...I suspect Khushi's relationship with Naren might have been the same too. Because perhaps, the heart wants what it wants...for Arnav and Khushi it will always be each other. ❤️

Of course the path of true love never did run smooth...the buts and IF's will have to be dealt with...but if they manage to steal some time before Asli duniya barrages on their senses, they will have achieved something. And realized that they need only each other...nothing else matters.

Take a bow, Mira my dear, you aced it. Again!!👏

Mirabell ji, I loved the update, "because" , first time I saw Khushi open up her feelings more to herself, first time I saw that Khushi did not run away from the truth, first time I saw that Khushi wanted happiness and first time I saw that Khushi was tired of living in denial.

Now "Why" this sudden change in her?? Did she take the promise made to Naniji seriously that she will seek her happiness, or when Arnav distanced himself from her, she could understand the depth of her loneliness without him or she realised how much he is needed not only in her life but Meera's life too or that if she did not grab this Second chance given to her, she would end up more miserable than ever???

I will wait for these answers because I want to know them, because I want to understand Khushi better, because I might not know the depths of her demons but I want to sympathize with her and because I want to see Meera happy too.

But having said that I am scared Mira, you know why !!!

I am scared that come morning, Khushi might again go back to her shell, I am scared that history might repeat again with Khushi asking Arnav to go away like last time, I am scared that this happiness is too good to be true.

Loved the little things in the update like she holding his hand tightly and not letting go, like a little child holding onto his or her toy securely scared that someone would snatch it away.

And then she burrowing herself in his shoulders and finding herself in peace like finding home atlast after a long travel.

Now, for time being all "but" have been put to rest, but what happens when the sun rises and those "but" will be seen more clearly !!!!

I am in love with this chapter. It was a huge step forward in Khushi's journey, and I am glad Arnav held firm until she admitted to herself that she cared for him beyond the realm of a friendship. Tough love works sometimes, and as much as it kills Arnav to push her away, he was also pushing her to accept what she felt for him, and I couldn't be happier that it worked.

I could feel the urgency with which Khushi was typing out her texts, not being able to stand the thought of him not knowing, for even a second longer, how truly sorry she was...you wrote that exchange beautifully.

Lavanya is my spirit animal! 😆 Sexy dish, he is, and I am glad he heard it!

And with that one word, you won me over again, and made me fall in love with this story all over again. *Sigh* Yes, such a simple word but one that carries so much feeling, one that costs a lot for Khushi to give, one that will, hopefully, eventually lead to a lot more Yes's and I do's ;)

What an incredible update di...
I Loved the Arnav which you showed us today...
This stance and not even giving an inch of his emotion is what broke khushi...
His every because brought her more closer to him...
This was definitely needed...
His silence got khushi to speak...And god m so glad she did...!!!
Giving a close look to both of them...They have so much of passion between them. ... so much of love... The need to be with one another is so real..
What really made them move away in past???

Even the little shift in their emotions was expressed so wonderfully di...
Sometimes more than the story... Itz the way you write make me come baq her to read more... And thia was one such update...
