Alia's performance in Highway is so overrated..I think she is a decent actress and has fabulous screen presence but Highway is not all that its made out to be IMO 😆 And no, i din want Kareena to win the critics award for Singham Returns ( given how she is my favorite)😆

Mardaani was one of the best performances I have ever seen. It was beyond perfection. Such a powerful role. She deserved awards for it. It was her best work. I agree. But just because Alia "beat her", I don't discredit her for it. Alia was excellent too. But that's award shows.

I think you've misunderstood. I'm not trying to discredit her, but I genuinely found her to be average. It was overhyped.
