I watched the movie but i am not understanding why her character is like that. In the first half she was behaving like mentally challenged person talking making a face what was that? I did not understand the character please help

Well ... I guess it was confusing , I think she was taking medicines for depression ? Not sure though.

She was overdosing on medication thats why she was like that.

it was medicine overdone but for what she use to have medicines? what was her real problem in the movie?

She was taking anti depression pills.

The problems... Well she stole money n ran away from her home. Her family members cut her off. She had to pay 10 crore to some people in China or else she would be in trouble.

Her character was plain weird..They probably tried to make it quirky and different..That said, Sid was a lot better than her in HTP IMO..The second time i watched it, i found Parineeti quite annoying but Sid was really charming in the film..Was subtle and played his part well..His performance in that film is quite underrated..Probably his best till date but got lost because Pari had the more hyper character to play and the film wasn't a big hit either..

@Rogers True.I never liked Sid but he actually did a good job in HTP. But I can't say the same for EV. HTP only changed my views regarding Sid. Pari was cute though and they looked really good and I feel Sid looks better with Pari more than with Alia.
