Rajat as Chandragupta Maurya in his next ??

tfs! i miss rajat in action! would love to see him as CGM! but would have been nice if he had got some other genre show, maybe some detective series or even devdas at this point!

The manner of this article is wonky so I will not take it seriously. It says that Rajat Tokas will replace Ashish Sharma as CGM.

Who the hell is Ashish Sharma? And what do you mean by replace? You replace someone who is already playing the part but this serial is still in the planning stage, it has not been aired.

Mind it, I am not saying the rumor is false, just that this article is not the one to convince me.

I have serious misgivings about Rajat accepting this show. First issue is that this is another king role, second issue is that all these ancient kings look similar. How will this differentiate itself from Ashoka, MP or even mythological serials like Karna? The look of these serials is very similar.

Jodha Akbar was about a famous Muslim king, very rare on Indian TV and the look was unique.

Third issue is SONY. That channel is a death bed for ratings. There is no hope there.

Since all this is still in planning stage I really wish that Rajat says no and does some detective serial or Devdas or anything else.
