The Real touch of the Pseudo

"Hey Lavanya!", before Lavanya could even start bombarding her insane questions on Khushi a familiar... Much familiar voice called her out making her almost jump from her chair!

"Hey Arnav!", her attempt of not sounding over excited terribly failed as Arnav smirked

"Well Khushi keeps talking about you A LOT!", he said slightly leaning towards her making Khushi open her mouth in a perfect o'

"Oh Really?", Lavanya quick glanced at Khushi and she smiled as she had got no any words out of her vocabulary to reply her!

"Ofcourse Lav... Ohh it sounds so much like love!", he said smirking like a typical flirt

"Oh yes Eighth wonder of the world!", Khushi made sure she sounded rude and sarcastic!

Don't know why but she felt extremely different seeing him flirt with someone else as she felt the people around were glancing at her as if she is a failed relationship holder! With no any further wait she dragged him out far away from all those guys in a corner to confront him!

But hold on hold on wait a minute... She is a damn 'Pseudo Girlfriend!' not 'Real!'... same chant started in her mind as she loosened the grip on his hand after bringing him to the corner!

"Stay here for two minutes and then walk away!"

Arnav was eagerly waiting for her possessive side to pop out but his jaw dropped when he said it!

"Holy F*CK!", he let out with dissapointment

"Okhay I knew why you did it... just because you wanted to show your friend that you got a possessive girl right?... So stay here and then get lost in anger"

Arnav was damn sure that she was angry on him for whatever he did to Lavanya but WTH why wasn't she scolding or confronting him? Oh she is so sincerely a typical Pseudo Girlfriend!'

"I think something is burning!", He waved in front of his nose pinching the nose muscles at the tip in the expression of 'Ewww!!'

"Didn't you go to empty your stomach in the Morning?", Khushi said with an 'yuck!' expression as she clearly understood what was Arnav actually trying to say! C'mon she grew in India watching all those daily soaps and movies unlike him!

Arnav didn't know what to say as he simply stared at her... Was she so damn angry?

"Khushi babes chill!"

"What chill? You know what? Everyone was and is staring at us instead of the birthday boy... this is not what I or you want correct? so next time before creating any effect before your friends regarding us better look at the situation... just walk away... and remember you are not going to show my video clip to anyone!"

So here she goes? Isn't she jealous? Gossh she is a great actor than what he dreams to be in future! Here he had lost the thing of her video or even showing off his status in front of his friends from his mind all he want to do is make her jealous and she kept thinking about that clip for 24*7... Man his first crush is such an unromantic book worm! No doubt Amit was cold and dejected when he had told to him once after their breakup that he liked Khushi!

He kept thinking and staring her straight into her eyes before walking away in mixed expressions of instead of furry that he was supposed to do! It even took Khushi a second to realize what just happened with her too? She felt as if there was an emotional exchange which she didn't understand!

There was certain kind of confusion in the environment around them! Arnav too seemed too confused!.. isn't their bond just for a year or rather just few months left! Why did he want to prove that she is jealous? ? And even if he has got a crush on her it doesn't mean that she will start liking him in just two days! When the fact was that she rejected him at first! Just because she opened up to him on her personal family matters it doesn't mean she is 'that' level comfortable with him!

Here Khushi was thinking why she should be jealous or even feel uneasy at first place?...though thank god she stopped it in time... not acting like real one! What would he had thought if she behaved typically jealous! But still... SOMETHING IS NOT CLEAR!! BUT WHAT?

Next minute Khushi's thoughts were disturbed by Sheetal, "Khushi boys flirt... it's normal at our age!"

"I know... I am not angry at him!"

"Are you sure? You almost made him regret his behavior!"

So Khushi was not only one to get different vibes from him! It was truth he was way too indifferent today!

"Honey!" Amit entered the scene kissing Sheetal slightly on lips as Khushi looked elsewhere to avoid awkwardness!

Sheetal excused herself by the reason of making an important call and left... leaving Khushi and Amit near the bar area!

"Want some drink?"

"No... thanks for asking"

"Khushi finally you are into someone now... And I think it's quite serious!", he giggled slightly and she understood what was he pointing out

"Oh yeah... he is sweet as he is handsome!", her lips curved upwards slightly as she recalled their childish cute moments in these two days!

She saw Arnav entering the party area again and without even saying anything to Amit of waving a bye formally she moved to him!

"Arnav... I am... I am..."

"Its Okay sweetheart... I really got a possessive babe!", he giggled

Arnav had clearly made up his mind for moving ahead and sticking to Khushi only for the reason they were meant to be together... to prove his friends he has got no phobia of girls and can very well make a dating history!

While seeing Arnav normal Khushi too decided that moment of confusion should not be brought up again!

"Lavanya I am sorry... And your name really sounds like love as sweet as you!", she patted her cheek fondly... Yes Khushi was guilty for her behavior towards Lavanya even though she knew Lavanya wouldn't have hesitated if Arnav kissed her that time!

"Khushi I think we should leave!"

Arnav came forward and pulled her slightly by her waist... she got what he wants!... the spark they had was back without any confusion!!... They were ready to fool the world!...she leaned to his ears creating an image as she is kissing a spot down his ears making other people smirk coyly!

"But the party is yet to began!", Amit said

"We have different plans!"

Arnav said without breaking the stare he had with Khushi and left as the people cheered the couple about their cute boldness!

"Ohh god I cannot understand how they think us to be real?... we are such good actors man!"

Arnav and Khushi both burst out laughing at Arnav's words before getting into car just before Khushi's phone beeped and her face dropped immediately reading the text

"Hey babe...What's wrong?"

"Mom and dad both won't come home today!!"

"It's okay they must be busy!"

"I know!"

"Hey beautiful... We actually can have plans for tonight!", he winked to lighten up the mood as he begun driving

"What plans?"

"Dinner ofcourse... I AM HUNGRY!", he said caressing his tummy searching for some good restaurant on the way

"I knew... drive back to your home... I have ordered some continental as I knew you won't eat Chinese that Amit had in his party!"

"You know I don't like Chinese?", Arnav was slightly shocked

"Ermmm yup I guessed it when you parked your car in hot sun rather in front of that Chinese stall in shade!", she giggled

"Yep I just hate that oil's smell...yuck!", Arnav created small expressions od vomiting as he didn't like Chinese and took a turn towards his hostel

"Hell... Wait... I said your HOME!"

"You know I lived in hostel right?", he was slightly angry

"Hmm yes I know but see I thought there won't be anyone at your hostel room to receive your parcel in case if it comes early before you... plus more over anything the hotel had free home delivery in 16 Km and your hostel is about 23 km from your favorite restaurant.. so that was more money-saving deal!" , Khushi said

Arnav burst out in the couple of chuckles hearing it!

"Khushi your dad is quite rich... you need not be on such money saving mode!", he said taking a u' turn to change the road to go to his house

"So what? Money is money everyone saves it from a beggar to any Tata, Birla, Ambani... and I am pretty sure Raizada's or Gupta's need not be exceptional cases!"

Khushi turned on the radio and it was her favorite Justin Bieber's song... Arnav changed the station and now it a was taylor Swift's song

"Justin!", Khushi changed channel

"Taylor!", Arnav changed the channel

"Justin!", Khushi changed channel

"Okay fine it will be Arnav!", he switched off the radio and began, "Ramaya vastavaya Ramaya vastavaya meine dil tujhko diya... Meine dil tujhko dya!...".. Arnav began singing completely in tapori style while Khushi clapped and danced in sitting position itself.

"Gossh Khushi...don't you think that I will be a tough competition for Justin will be an understatement!"

"You sing horribly OKHAY!"

"Star voice of India judges speak something else!", he winked making her giggle

It was a cool coincidence that both the parcel and hungry people had reached at the same time in the hose! There seemed nobody in Raizada Mansion except HP who opened the door!

Arnav sighed in relieve as his mother wasn't around! Khushi noticed his expression... And blinked his eyes once...twice...thrice...Was he seriously relaxed because his Mom wasn't in the house? Aww Mumma's boy gets nervous with his girlfriend around when his Mom is with him! She thought as she couldn't look for any other reason!

They sat comfortably on the dining room and as were about to unpack the parcel the doorbell rang... it was his Mother... Khushi saw change in Arnav's expression... but she moved forward to an overwhelmed Mrs. Raizada whose eyes were slightly moist but why? Looked like she didn't see Arnav since ages!

"Hello Mrs. Raizada!"

"Hey hieee... You are Khushi right? My husband told me about you..I am sorry for not coming to your place for dinner that night... Thanks!", she said the bold part in a low whisper looking at Arnav

"Thanks for what?", she was confused at the aunty's gesture but her vision diverted as Arnav turned about to walk towards his room... didn't even care for the food or his hunger!

"Arnav that was rude!", Khushi violently entered in to his room to find him sitting quite staring at a distance quietly

She wasn't sure what was the problem... she recalled the way Arnav always avoid talking about his Mom!... She was sure something is at a mess but maybe Arnav won't be comfortable sharing it with her! So she decided to change the topic and make him at peace!

"I am sure this tastes yummy!", she said keeping the food in front of him... she glanced at his phone... IT WASN'T LOCKED! She began thinking something (everyone of you know what!😉)

"I hate eating food on bed!", he said angrily turning away making Khushi pick up the parcel

"You are such a JERK... Do you feel your pillow, blanket or mattress will eat few morsels that are supposed to go in your stomach!", she popped her eyebrows making Arnav giggle slightly as he sat with her on the couch to eat

Man she is sooo cute!

"I am sorry...", he said in middle of eating his voice sounded too cute as his cheeks were yet in form of small bubbles with food in between!

"It's Okay... I can understand something is at mess!"

"I must say it's nice to not have dad in all this!"

"B-b...", Khushi was about to begin

"I... I... saw her sleeping with some other man... In their bed...", Arnav couldn't complete his sentence... even couldn't make an eye contact with Khushi as he went to the balcony of his room!

Khushi just stared at him... Just stared... her trance broke with the beep of his phone

IT WAS THE GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY FOR HER TO RID HERSELF NOW!!!
