Guys...just wanted to share a point of view. 'Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan' is all about friendship. Once Niti aka Nandini spoke on KY2 itself...that changes do come and first we can't accept the changes..but we must accept the changes and once we accept the changes, we will be able to cope up with it. A lot of posts are made by members here speaking of how Parth, Abhishek, Utkarsh, Ayaz have all thought of quitting KY2. How doing that will break Fab 5 and how that will lead to the ruining of the story. But I never felt that KY2 is just about Fab 5 and their progress.
U guys must remember one thing...the story is basically about friendship. It is not just about the friendship of Fab 5 members (though its not shown, there was an earlier friendship prior to Fab 5 which was the band of brothers)..it is about new friendships that are formed as the story progresses. When Season 1 started...it was Fab 5 who were friends with each other. Then Navya and Nandini came in..they formed a friendship with Dhruv, Shahid and Harshad. Following that Manik and Nandini entered into a romance, then slowly she became friend of Fab 5 and the love interest of Manik.
After that Aryaman came in...and then it became friendship of Aryaman- Nandini. The drama is basically about friendships. New friendships coming..old friends leaving. Friends coming and going...I feel is the theme of the story.
Remember? The way Dhruv had a tiff with Manik coz he got jealous seeing Manik's intimacy with Alya and other various reasons? At that point..their friendship met with a challenge..which they had to face. 😳
If KY2's basic storyline is taken..the first friendship even before the entry of Dhruv in Manik's life ...was Band of Brothers. I suppose that was Dhruv, Harshad and Manik, right?? Maybe now the story of Band of brothers will be brought up. The reasons for why Manik and Harshad became enemies...what happened that made the Band of brothers break up and how and why Fab 5 was formed. If those parts are to be shown...perhaps Harshad being on the serial has more scope and Utkarsh's role may get limited to just romancing Alya and standing by Manik and rest of the girls.
Maybe that is one reason why Utkarsh decided to quit.
I don't know if U guys have watched the korean drama "Boys over flowers" upon which the story is loosely based. But in it, as far as I remember...a character similar to that of Dhruv was portrayed by Kim Hyunjoong. At a certain point, where he loses his love interest, he goes after her abroad..maybe Dhruv will also be shown to be leaving country for abroad coz of some reasons. If its that way, then Dhruv will keep the scope of returning. There was a memory loss track in the original japanese version Hanayori Dango too! There leader of F4 Tsukasa gets an amnesia. I don't know what track they will select eventually...but even if one of the actors leave...more than about the friendship of Fab 5 alone...it generally means the new friendships that gets formed with the progress.
But one thing..that audience won't allow to change will be MaNan...Manik and Nandini...as in Parth and Niti as Manik and Nandini will remain irreplacable owing to their strong onscreen chemistry which helps with the trps a lot ...the rest of the characters I feel will undergo changes, perhaps enter into new friendships or love relationships...some actors like Maddy may enter and exit.
So we must keep our minds open as with regard to the entry and exit of actors from the show. Let's chill and watch how the story will progress. I'm waiting to watch which track they are going to take! Just wanted to share my POV!😳
