I don't know why but I don't feel connected to any other characters other than MaNan in season 2. No one else attracts me now. It's completely my p.o.v.

Agree yaar...me too! Once Parth returned I too started enjoying KY2! Parth and Niti together can make the most beautiful romantic moments onscreen. After them..the character I liked most was Kabir. 😳

Hmm...but its just that to Manik...members of Fab 5 are the ones who stood by him to fight the darkness. That why he loves them a lot! 😳

I like Cabir a lot and except for him everyone else was so mean to Manik and Nandani when ever they felt like it and threw tantrums about leaving Fab5 when ever they felt like for the stupidest reasons ever...

Same here..my favourite after MaNan was Cabir!😃

They also didn't seem to know each other that well as except for Cabir no one knew about how obsessed Manik was with Nandani for a large part of the show, and no one had any inkling about what was cooking between Alya and Druv and how distracted Mukti was being when her relationship with Abimanu started...
All in all the only REAL Yarian I saw in Ky2 was the great friendship between Cabir and Manik and the complete understanding between Manik and Nandani which was also a great part of their love for each other...Manan is not just a love story to me...its also about yariyan.

Actually Alya knew of MaNan's chemistry and the reason why she was so jealous! For the most part, she was allergic to Nandini! If Dhruv had not started a love story with her, she would not have stopped disliking Nandini!😆

So after all is said and done, MaNan is both the love story and Yarian that I look for in ky2..
All the other character can come and go...I really don't care...well except for Cabir..😆 It would be nice to see another character like Cabir in S2 too...

Actually I still believe that KY2 is about friendships is general...name itself is "Kaisi yeh yaariaan'...how these friendships!😳

The story is about the 7 characters we see on the title montage! If it was about 'friendship' alone the show wouldn't have come this far. The very first epi of KY2 marked the love story of Manik n Nandini with fireflies, stars owing to Destiny.😊

Yes I too know that Dhruv ke attacks started with meteor showers. But if U have watched Season 1 carefully U will note that Dhruv was infact protected by Manik at that point when he got a trauma from meteor showers and that's how became friends and the three kids Dhruv, Harshad and Manik..making Band of brothers. Harshad has an important role in that sense. But Manik did something to make Harshad hate him. It is not clearly stated as to why Harshad hates Manik, but that may be revealed here in Season 2. Just a guess once again.
It is so obvious in the start of s1, Dhruv was in fact protected by Manik! No doubt in that😆 But as far as my memory goes, Harshad was the one who pushed Manik towards danger to save himself from meteor shower and Dhruv saved Manik but couldn't save himself. So I don't know how the Band of Brothers can be formed after this incident. It has to be before this.. n after this incident Harshad n Manik have not been friends.

Actually...I read such a prediction posted here..upon which many posts came up.
Memory loss due to trauma following Dhruv's accident/death.. such a prediction I read in this thread only

Dear..many fans were saying that "nooo memory loss not again! doesn't go with the story so far". So I mentioned that there could be a possibility that some idea may be taken from Season 2 of Hanayori Dango too! A lot of things can be adopted from other versions yaar!😆 And I repeat what I said a few days back! Memory loss idea need not be taken from BOF, just coz it had one🥱 The concept of memory loss isn't new to Indian TV n movies😆 Now pls don't tell me again KY2 is similar to BOF! I know, how much of it is similar😃

That's why I said..for MaNan fans it will be the story of MaNan for MaNan fans. Fab 5..once Ayaz left itself is not same. Now since Uttu is also leaving...there is possibility of new friendships starting. It is not my desire that I'm saying..I would like all 5 actors to be there like before. But its their choice to quit too. I said of a possibility of CVs changing the track accordingly and bringing in new characters...new friendships in fact. Otherwise..if no replacements happen...then the story can't go any further. 😆 Whether or not all the 5 ppl of Fab5 are present, the members of Fab 5 have a life of their own.. n it totally depends on the ability of the writer to keep the audience hooked with interesting storyline/s. I don't mind a replacement for Dhruv(may be later on).. but death is too stupid a step imo! They have tried to pull a similar stunt with S2 before Manik's return, n it didn't work😛

We can't say whether Parth stays or leaves..but as long as trps don't drop and as long as they are loved as MaNan, Parth may say he is leaving...but I have a feeling that he'll complete Season 2 also like he completed Season 1. My point is, it's not about what the writers want to show, it's about what the viewers want to see! New entries, new friendships is going to be repetitive n boring unless they decide to revamp the show with completely new cast/characters n story, after the closure of the current story of course!
It's sad that Utkarsh is leaving, n writers can't do much about it. But I hope they have a good story for his exit and not simply killing off the character! Itne deaths toh GEC k shows mein bhi nhi hote😆
The story even without Cabir, has potential(of course most of us watch it for manan), but the writers don't seem to have that potential! Anyway.. we will know where all this will lead to!

Agree yaar..it started as the story of the 7 characters..but earlier also I have seen serials where they brought in new characters and changed the whole storyline. Now the name of the serial itself is "Kaisi yeh yaariaan". They have made it such that at the end of the serial..the theme will be about friendships..old ones or newly formed ones. If it were not so..they would've removed Aryaman already like they removed Abhishek's character after a brief romance he had with Mukti. But they kept Aryaman to replace Kabir and he became the member of new Fab 5 even though Manik hates the idea! 😆

Once Dhruv also quits...the story will be about the three girls and their lives as designer/Fab 5 members. But after a certain point...the CVs have to bring in new characters as romantic interests for Alya and Mukti and formation of new friendships or love stories. I mean they won't 24/7 show them making music and going around with guitars and keyboards. The focus will be on MaNan for sure...but the serial name is 'Kaisi yeh yaariaan'...its not 'Kaisa yeh pyaar"😆 Surely..they wanted to show friendship of Fab 5 at first..then wanted to show MaNan romance..but if they want to keep the whole friendship theme active..there must be more characters. Already by bringing in Aryaman..they corrupted the sanctity of Fab 5, na? Now there's a possibility of bringing in new characters..like they brought in Soha and Pandit..both of whom ended up as villains!😆

Harshad did push Manik when in danger and Manik called him coward or something and that's why he hates Manik. Band of boys was formed prior to this when they were kids. But I think Manik disliked Harshad even more after he saw Harshad with Nyonika in...😆

Manik was the one who hugged Dhruv and always sings songs to Dhruv to keep him alright. Dhruv is always shown as needing Manik. Anyways...the story of Band of brothers is not yet completely revealed. So they may have parts where Harshad makes Manik remember that or something!😳

Yes I know..I mean...I was just saying that if they show Manik getting a memory loss due to trying to save Dhruv and his head hitting on a stone or something..that would be more believable than Manik losing memory due to punch from Maddy!😆 U saw this prediction on this thread or not?? Maddy's punch makes Manik lose memory! Like Manik is a tiny bunny rabbit or something!🤣

I know yaar...but atleast 1st few episodes was a good imitation. Heroine coming from an average background, spoilt brats and sons of rich college owner, the handsome leader whom is at first disliked by heroine and even the terrace scene where the person is going to jump off and die, was taken from BOF. Throwing eggs at heroine, sticking a sticker on the victim to make the college see that this person is the next target. Hero being irritated with heroine coz of her attitude and heroine attracted to the silent supportive 2nd lead, heroine trying to save her friend and becoming a victim, heroine physically attacking hero and then hero enjoying it and taunting her and making her suffer. Then the whole spot incident was adaptation of Korean movie "100 days with Mr. Arrogant"😆

Atleast they started it off by a lot of scenes which are similar to BOF and inspiration undoubtedly is BOF, Hanayori Dango and 100 days with Mr. Arrogant. Don't say that they didn't watch BOF at all...and didn't get inspired by it.😆

If they watched Season 1..possibly Season 2 also. But agreed..the concept of memory loss is not new to Indian TV...I just mentioned that in the japanese version also there was this memory loss theme..which will be a similarity if it is brought in here too!😆😛

I know yaar..new character entries is boring..but I have a feeling now they'll try it out. If Madhyam exits, Dhruv exits...then story will be able Alya, Mukti, Manik, Aryaman (new entry into friendship zone let me remind U..Nandu's new friend😆) and Nandini...I don't know how they'll be taking the story ahead. But's wait and watch!

I know...I too don't want Dhruv to be killed off..that's why I stated the option of him going abroad due to a reason or something like they did in BOF..when Kim Hyunjoong leaves after the lady he loves!😉😛 They can show this as perhaps Dhruv getting a new chance to travel abroad coz of a music opportunity or something!😳

Yes it has come true before also!😆 I predicted that they will bring in jealousy track of Manik on seeing Aryaman with Nandini and about Manik-Maddy faceoff with regard to Fab 5!😛 These predictions with regard to KY2. Other serial story predictions also have earlier come true!😳
