@N Peshwa Bajirao was a brave Maratha warrior. Peshwa literally translates to Prime minister. Mastani was a dancer and was said to be very beautiful! History has 2 versions...one says that he married Mastani while still being married to his wife Kashibai (played by PC) The other one says that she was his mistress! Actually the city where I live is the same place where the Peshwas used to reside! There's a fort called Shaniwarwada where a gate is known by the name of Mastani. There's also a lake by her name!
